I am glad they are closing. They displayed, all the time, bad bad customer service.

I stopped into this little grocery store after work. A chalkboard sign out front immediately caught my attention. On Thursdays, there is an incredible $ 20 special. I don’t know if it’s the same offering each week but today’s was great. For only $ 20 I picked up the meal deal which consisted of the following items: 4 fresh gourmet burgers, 4-​pack of brioche buns, a package of sliced cheese (several options were available), a pint of either potato or macaroni salad, and a 6-​inch pie! Seriously??? Who gives this kind of deal at a grocery store? Simply amazing! I spent $ 16 at a BBQ joint the day before and didn’t like most of my food. Fresh Market gives customers a deal that just can’t be topped.
Once I packed my paper bag with these goodies, I went to the smoothie bar. I highly recommend the «Green» smoothie made with kale, spinach, banana, strawberries, and apple juice. No extra sugar or sweeteners were added so it was healthy and delicious. Most if not all of the smoothies have color names. I sampled the «Red» one which was yummy also.
Finally, I must comment on the friendliness of the staff. All of the employees whom I interacted with were just plain down to earth.
I’ll be back for sure.

This Fresh Market is a big disappointment. It’s my preferred grocery store for produce and organics, so I was excited when I moved so close by to this one. The staff are absolutely amazing but this location has the worst produce and it hasn’t seemed to get any better. Positive note: you won’t find better grocery store bakery items anywhere else!

I wish I could figure out what’s the attraction here. Maybe it’s because it was always on a Sunday but the three times I visited their salad bar the greens were anything but fresh! The lighting is dim, there’s a lot of overpriced gimmicky stuff that to my mind doesn’t really qualify as food and — well, it just feels more like a tourist attraction than a grocery store. I hate to give a bad review but this is one of the few places where I truly feel it’s justified.

We popped in to grab coffee and when we approached the bar there was no one there. We placed our order and it was prepared quickly. Right before it was handed to us two girls stepped up to the counter and placed orders. When the woman stepped to the register to check us out she became distracted by these women. Checked both of them out and then we were next in line. When a woman came out of nowhere and cut me off to step up to the counter. Instead of telling her we were next she just checked her out too. There seems to be absolutely no organization for the way orders are placed or paid for. And Carolina needs to attend to one customer at a time or keep an order to her line at her counter. Not at all impressed with the customer service or the product.

I absolutely fell in love with this market! A client of mine referred me there after my complaints with Whole Foods. I was tirednof the blad tasting expensive food. I tried out Fresh Market and was totally sold! Great lunch choices and since its fall they hae an outstanding variety of fall treats!

I have to go pretty far out of my way to go to a fresh market but I do so because the produce and meat has always been spectacular. But I won’t be back to this location my 2 pounds of ground beef were bright red on the outside and dark gray on the inside. The hotdogs that they pitched me – well they were past expiration date by three days when they sold them to me – didn’t notice till I got home. The rest of my purchases were normal but I would never buy meat here again

Most of the people are so friendly and helpful here! The store looks bright, fresh and very clean. After a hellish day I decided to indulge and purchase the unbakeable cookie dough. Before I even reversed my car out of the parking lot I busted into the packaging only to realize it was already broken. I came back in and no questions asked they replaced it promptly with a smile. THIS STUFF IS TO DIE FOR. and full of calories, so watch out. All you ladies going through a bad break up this is for you!

I’ve been to Fresh Market several times just to grab cookies or tag along with a coworker who really likes their smoothies.
I went to my regular grocery store later today so it was a zoo. Rather than battle it out, I headed to fresh market. I guess because I’d never done real grocery shopping I didn’t realize it was so expensive. More than Whole Foods. I’m not paying WF prices for subpar produce.
The other times I’ve been to grab I sandwhich they won’t make it fresh. Instead you have to get a soggy one from the cooler. Like the people behind the deli straight up ignore you. So not only is the quality crap, so is the service.
Bonus star because the cookies here are amazing. And the candy! I’ll stick to just picking up movie night snacks.

I rate this a 1 because there’s is no 0 nor negative rating. I bought a grass shoot at the smoothie station and I was vomiting after 15 minutes. I know for sure that it was the grass shoot because it tasted weird. I will never step in to any of their stores.

NOT so FRESH MARKET! Yesterday was my first (and last) time there. I bought a pre made veggie pizza from near the deli section. I went straight home & cooked it as instructed, took a bite… *gag*!! The cheese tasted completely spoiled! I don’t know what went wrong with that pizza but according to the sell by date it wasn’t expired & the ingredients listed were all standard things I’m used to eating, so nothing should have tasted so foul and reeked like mold/​mildew?!! How can a store with «fresh» in the name sell spoiled food?
The store is so overpriced to begin with and had such terrible customer service at checkout, I don’t see how they can possibly be in business. When I went to check out, no one acknowledged me because the employees were too busy arguing about taking breaks in front of me. I assume one was a manager because she sounded like she was bossing the other lady around.
Who shops at that place? There is a Whole Foods across the street.

Obsessed with the fresh mozzarella cheese there! It’s never busy and I always grab a dozen roses (usually only $ 10!) just for fun! I hope they don’t close this location! Oh and their cookies are fabulous !

Went from average to pathetic in the wake of WFM opening across the street. There isn’t enough business to sustain freshness, and it shows. The meat counter consisted of pans half-​full with meat that was starting to brown, dull seafood and half-​assed breaded ready to make items, and associates that weren’t actively at the counter. Got a couple pillow cookies since I was there (the almond ones are good). Got to the register and the cashier looked like she didn’t give a crap about being there and had no idea how to ring up the pillows. I can’t wait until they close — — their business model doesn’t work in Houston.

This is the worst grocery chain in all of North America.
It is a combination of all the worst traits of every grocery chain out there. Fresh market is expensive than Whole Foods, more attitude than Wal-​Mart, and less friendly than Food Town.
I went in with low expectations and they floored me with the most disrespectful and condescending attitude I have ever experienced — and I shop at Asian grocery places all the time.
When I asked if the prepared food was still open, the 18 year old behind the counter said, «unfortunately yes» and gave me a blank stare of bitterness and asked what I wanted. When I asked for suggestions, he said it was all «not that great.»
I can’t wait for Fresh Market to close down in Houston. It has already been kicked out of Sacremento because of so many factors.

This is my favorite Fresh Market in Houston. The store is pleasant and well laid out… always clean and easy to navigate. They have some really unique food items that you cannot find even at some of the other Fresh Market stores.
BOTTOM LINE: A solid Fresh Market location in Houston’s prime Galleria area.

The Barnes and Noble of grocery stores, super nice store. Not overly large, well stocked, and super clean. Prices are reasonable, selection of higher end items is nice, real Italian pastas, and a reasonably well stocked Asian section too. Meat and produce departments are also well stocked impeccably clean, and well laid out. Problem here is whole paycheck is right across the street, and it’s huge. I prefer this store by a wide margin to whole foods, and the inconsiderate masses of yuppiedom who shop there, but I fear Fresh Market may not be able to coexist with the competition which is a real shame. But if you want some good food, good prices, and be able to get in and out quickly this is your place. Oh and the chicken wing bar is a stroke of genius.

I had some time to kill and decided to stop by to check this place out. Big mistake. Fifteen minutes and $ 50 later — I was out of the store. I found a lot of great little goodies in the store — this place is definitely a great place for foodies. Although the prices were on the higher end and this place still isn’t as amazing to me as Central Market.
I did try the pillow cookies as Sonia T. recommended and they were pretty amazing. Good thing I opted to buy ONE cookie instead of the whole dozen. I am pretty sure I wouldn’t have had much willpower with that temptation.
I also picked up a buffalo chicken wrap from the deli. I liked all of the sandwich, salad and sushi on-​the-​go options they had available. I was really excited about the wrap as it was grilled/​baked chicken in wing sauce instead of fried chicken. One bite into the wrap and I chomped on a BIG bone. I get it — that’s what happens with shredded chicken. But I still don’t like it. I decided to take my chances and then took another bite of tendon. Not cool. Although the flavor was great and the wrap was HUGE — I just couldn’t bring myself to eat the rest of it after those two bites of unpleasantness.
I was really impressed with their selection on Kombucha. And I honestly thought the prices might actually be a little less expensive for some of the bottled teas. I was also able to find tamari (which I had been looking for at several other stores with no luck).
I’m thinking this would be a great place to shop at the holiday’s to pick up goodies to send to my friends. They had a fairly large candy/​chocolate selection that could be impressive for gifts. Otherwise, I will stick to my Central Market.

Two words. Pillow. Cookies.
I double dog dare you to go in and try one. I’m serious, they put any bakery (I’m looking at you Common Bond)‘s cookie to shame. Those bad boys are going to be my demise.
I think this Fresh market, it is well organized, and never super busy. The meat guys here are also super friendly. Good wine selection, great healthy options, and really tasty whole roasted chickens!

Seriously disappointed with the organic veggies available here. Sorry. I will keep this review simple.
If you want veggie’s and fruit from Organic sources, shop elsewhere. Plain and simple.

One of my favorite markets to shop at!
The cookies and pies are delicious here. Whenever we have a bday at work, we come here for sweets.
Did I mention the yummy $ 1 croissant breakfast sandwiches:

*first come first serve basis.
My only dislike is the the $ 4 fresh apple juice I paid. I wished I read the label first. .
Pretty much their way of saying ‘drink at your own risk’
