Best little café/restaurant in the Energy Corridor. Mom and pop shop with a lot of options — even vegetarian. Reasonably priced with plenty of seating. Clean and tidy. Good food. I go here at least 3 times a week.

It’s a pretty good sandwich shop, I had falafel but it was overcooked, so won’t be getting that again. BLT was good the other day, reasonably priced lunch meal with chips and drink. I think I’ll try something else next visit.

DON’T bother with the Philly Cheesesteak. The meat was not up to par, not much cheese and the onions/peppers barely there. This was my first visit but I’ll try something else on the menu next time.

The wonderful place to go for sandwiches and coffee/sweets is this place! Subs to go and coffee has a great atmosphere for those working around 290-beltway this place is a must try! And hooked afterwards. My fav is chicken salad subs. Delicious and healthy.

Definitely a good place for a sandwich, off the beaten path so getting to it through traffic is usually not an issue. Tasty sandwiches for a decent price. Nothing amazing, nothing terrible. Great place for lunch.

It used to be much better. The food is alright — 7″ sub is 5.40 with the chip and drink combo. Salads are modest but okay. If you want quick and slightly better than Subway this will work.

A sub + coffee shop in the middle of nowhere! I was looking for a new place for lunch and I was driving down W. Little York when I saw a plaza with a tiny sign for the Filling Stop. I had to look it up on Unilocal and decided to give it a shot. I turned into the shopping center and boy, this shopping center is dead. There’s like a couple of warehouses(I think) in the back, and you can see trucks pulling in and out of this shopping center, but other than those warehouses, there’s not really a whole lot else in this plaza. Even the spaces to the left and right of the Filling Stop is unoccupied. Anyway, I went in and looked at the menu. They had both hot and cold sub menus. And they offer their subs in 7″ or 9″ length. Looking at the menu, it seems like the difference between the 7″ and 9″ is, on average, $ 1. I opted for a 7″ Grilled Chicken Parmesan sub and a bottle of water. My total came to around $ 6 and change. $ 4.99 for the sub and $ 1 for the water + tax. Not too shabby. They gave me a number for my order(even though I was the only person in the shop dining in) and I went to my seat. Around 5 minutes later, my sub is ready and it was good! It’s filling, but not too filling. The bread(you can choose white or wheat. I chose wheat) was good. The cheese just melted into the chicken and the Parmesan sauce was good. They offer free wi-fi. You don’t even have to ask for the pass code. The network name and the pass code are both written on a piece of paper and then stuck on the window. They also have plenty of seating both inside and outside. On the inside, they have booth seating, table seating, and some bar style seats facing out the window. I can see myself stopping by here often to get a quick lunch. Especially since they have a variety of sandwiches that sound really good. They also offer smoothies, breakfast food, and some other stuff. If you’re in this side of town, give it a try. I think you’ll like it.

If you’re in the area, the Filling Stop is a must! Great selection of sandwiches, good/quick service, great price, and always a lively atmosphere. This place gets packed during lunch hours since its in a industrial area with little other lunch choices nearby. They also provide a happy hour with a modest selection of beer and wine at a great price!

I thought this place made a pretty good turkey sub! Reminds me of what I used to get at Blimpie back in the day. The turkey and provolone were super fresh. My husband enjoyed his roast beef. They have a lot of sandwich options in terms of fillings, but also including sliced wheat or rye bread, or white or wheat poboy. There’s also a variety of chips, baked and regular, and bottled and canned drinks. I’m talking, sweet leaf tea, crush grape and orange sodas, etc. The people that work here are friendly as well. People must like it because it is hoppin during lunch. If you feel like you’re sick of Subway(I am) and all the other boring sandwich places in town, give this place a shot.

The place is in an industrial area, but the atmosphere is nice. Had the philly cheese steak sub, it was pretty good, felt homemade, not out of a box.

This place is perfect. Stays open for late lunchers(open till 7), awesome menu. great food, friendly fast service, little bar serving beer and wine. A must see if your in the area, not much for lunch around these parts, so definitely check it out. Perfect little outdoor lounge area too!

For those of you in the area, this is in my opinion the best little place for a quick cheap lunch thats not fast food. I come here atleast 3 times a week. The sandwhich menu is very diverse you can have a turkey club loaded with shaved turkey meat or a mediteranian greek salad sub. They have almost every meat sandwhich known to me and they make them hot or cold. Their special is the $ 3.99 lunch which is sandwich special that comes with chips drink pickle and sandwich and I think a cookie even comes with it too. They have hot soup or salads, fruit, cakes etc etc etc. For me it’s the perfect spot for lunch and I believe they are going to start having a happy hour with margarita’s pretty soon. :)
