Meet the Business Owner

Van N.

Business Owner

A native Houstonian, Dr. Van Nguyen graduated from the University of Houston College of Optometry this year and completed her Bachelors of Science at the University of Houston as well. Dr. Van Nguyen joined the Texas State Optical family this year and is very excited to be working at the Downtown office.

Dr. Van Nguyen is a therapeutic optometrist and glaucoma specialist with with special interests in dry eye and ocular surface diseases, specialty contact lenses, glaucoma, and pediatrics. She enjoys educating her patients about their eyes and working with patients of all different ages. She is fluent in Vietnamese and able to perform eye examinations in Spanish.

In her free time, she enjoys baking, traveling, and eating at different cultural restaurants.
