TEXAS GO-2-GUYS Moving Service

Found this so call «company» on criagslist 2 weeks ago. Wanted to support our local texas business (wrong move & worst mistake). Decided to give them a call on my move. I live a small 3bd home the heights. All my belonging was packed, boxed, set in my living room for what was suppose to be a simple move.
My wife made arrangement for 9 am, kid you not! They showed up 2 hours later. Kept giving my wife excusses that it was traffic? Understandable, what I didnt get was. They showed up in a uhaul! it all made since now, they was late because they had to go rent a truck for our move! My wife told me to cancel the move due to this situation. I refused, bad move on my part.
They literally killed 3 hours moving piece by piece killing time. I was cleaning the pool in the back & wife was packing last min things. we came back to check on thier progress. We both glacé at each other & said «WOW. this is all they did»?! Now I was pissed & they saw my reaction.
I called neighbor over which happen to be my best friend. I was beyound pissed, they manage to move 13 boxes, 1 king sz bed & my front porch furniture. I ask them to pls remove all my things in the uhaul before this situation is going to get out of hand. They refused & demanded 300 $? That wasnt happening. My neighbor & I rush in the uhaul & removed everything out ourselves in 30 mins! Told them to get the hell out of my premises before this gets ugly. We argued so i called the cops… they knew the cops was coming so they kindly ask 40 for gas. I gave it to them & they bolted fast!!! Must have warrants?
Since I found them on criagslist I didnt think they have a Unilocal.Stupid me, they did have one. That would of saved me all the headache if I looked earlier. Now letting the entire houstonian know… «DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME».

–1 star if Unilocal have this feature. Not a real business, answer call on their personal cell phone.
I called them to my home, showed up 2 hours later. I looked outside my window & they arrived in a uhaul smoking cigarettes! Wow?! I smelt disaster, judging from previous review. I decided not to go with them & told them kindly that they had the wrong address. I know it wasn’t the right thing to do but I have kids & priceless belonging & furniture.
Overall. Don’t know how these independent guys are allowed to conduct business. I’m not giving my hard earn dollar to guys who showed up in a uhaul smoking cigarette. Trust your instinct, go w/​a replicable company w/​excellent review.

Worst experience of my life!!! Don’t make the same mistake I did! I called them to move my 1 bedroom apt which usually take an average mover 2 hours… They did it in 7 hours!
The story is: I saw found them on Craigslist & also saw 1 of their review on Unilocal also. So I called for a last min move since my previous appointment w/​another company was canceled due to the weather. They charge 70 $ an hour while other movers charge 50 – 55 $ a hrs. So I figure they must be really legit & professional.
Made a appointment at 10 am, they showed up at 12:30 (first red flag). They arrived in a uhaul that was rented (2^nd red flag). I should of ran thinking in my head, figure out I’ll give them a shot. 2 grow man moving boxes & chairs piece by piece. 3 hrs later another moving company arrived & unloaded their move in 1 hr!!! Now I was beyond frustrated! Me & my friend had to step in & take charge to help w/​the move!!! To top it off. After everything was done, they left their keys on in the uhaul & their uhaul wouldn’t start!!! They sat inside the car & did nothing about it while I run around my parking lot hunting for jumper cable.
I gave them the addy to my destination & they said they’ll follow me (3^rd red flag). Wasn’t gonna fall for it, that’s how people lose all their belonging so I decided to follow them. They unloaded all my stuff in a hour ½, we had to monitor then making sure they do it fast. Charged me 500 $, And of course that wasn’t happening… They went down to 440, I settled at 400 which was still high but by this point I was over it. Worst move of my life. Pls don’t USE THEM! You make the choice!

We hired these guys to help us unload a 15 foot uhaul truck. They showed up on time, worked hard, and had no complaints about carrying all kinds of stuff including a heavy couch up to a third floor apartment. I would use them again.
