I came here during my lunch break and I had no complaints whatsoever, i was greeted and seated as soon as I walked in, the nice waitress immediately took my drink order and brought me chips, I ordered the torta and it literally came out in 5 minutes. The food was great and I left there pretty satisfied

My wife and I came in Friday night about 7pm. It was our first time. I should have known that it wasn’t good when the place was empty. We ordered 4 beef fajita tacos and beef fajita enchilada’s. They were not good. I could not even finish them. We ended just tossing them. Maybe their other items taste better but I do not think we will give them another chance.

On this Christmas eve, I just want to say Feliz Navidad to my favorite taqueria in my neighborhood. I’m so happy the Arandas family took over this taqueria. The fresh interior is much spacious and inviting. The staff always greeted me with smile, not fake. I have been here since they started before summer. I frequently order menudo on Saturday and fish taco or chicken soup at weekday nights. They always have some freshly baked pastries on hand. I belief they came from its family bakery — Arandas Bakery — just half block away. I could see it from the back of restaurant. The FTR badge(first to review) should belong to Juvie C. This Taqueria Arandas on S Gessner near Beechnut started in April(according to its liquor license filed with the City). You may want to filter out those who gave 1 star — one review or no friends. Their experiences were very unusual for this friendly establishment. The review by Gary M. in 2009 was for the previous restaurant Taqueria Cancun at exact same location(thanks to him for keeping it real).

Finally, a taqueria arandas that does it right! This place has instantly turned into one of my favorite taco spots around. The green sauce is always fresh along with all their other salsas. I got their breakfast tacos which were also better than most places. I just hope it doesn’t turn into all the other taqueria arandas’.

We got take out tonight. We live only 5″ away from this restaurant. I ordered the Flautas. My husband ordered the enchiladas. The food was less than warm. They had put lettuce on top of the Flautas which made them soggy. I have ordered Flautas at their other locations and the beef has always been Fajita. These beef Flautas were made with ground beef. I have never seen that. Very disappointed and we threw their take out menu into the garbage. Never again.

This is the worst Aranda’s I’ve been to!. I felt like having breakfast one morning, and ordered SOPES when the order arrived they were so chewy and unable to eat, it felt that there were pre made for a while in the refrigerator, I asked the waitress but she was like I was bothering her, they changed it to chilaquiles because she said that the sopes all come out the same,(what answer is that ?) … One other time I went for dinner and wasn’t good either and the staff is unfriendly. On the other hand I’ve been Aranda’s on N I-59 and service and food are better.

Great place for family and friends we just left a few minutes ago friendly staff and food is great I felt like the food was well done because they pay attention to detail not like other restaurants they have so much business they just want food coming out without caring about how it is cooked. Our waitress was caring and very attentive I enjoyed my visit and I hope other would give this place a try!

They make the best Baja fish tacos. Their charro beans are really good as well. I get it to go here once a week.

The presentation of your food and the modern décor is on point. Everything else not so much. My sister ordered a breakfeast plate her tortillas came 10 minutes after her plate and the bacon came a few minutes after that. My tacos were delicious tho. Food takes way too long but the waitresses are nice.

Do yourself a favor and never come here. I came here after church for dinner with my family nothing we ordered came correct the food was ice cold. The service is really bad. We gave everything back. We were the only people in the restaurant and it took them 40 minutes to bring the food incorrect, and ice cold. We all left hungry and hit the nearest McDonald’s. I will never come back here again Run away !!

My first time there and i was not impressed. First, the waitress brought my girlfriend’s order incorrect the first time. Second, the food was below average. The chips that were brought to us were stale or old. the tacos however were cheap and good. I would recommend.

I was fortunate enough to be invited to the opening. During my visit, I found the owners were friendly and accommodating; the food I had(various tacos — vegetarian, barbacoa and pork) were yummy and the salsa was spicy; the staff was super attentive; and the décor was modern. Despite the drive, I expect to return and perhaps even look at hosting an event there. Best of luck to this new franchies! This is only the SECOND time I’ve given a 1 star [thanks for the reminder Cy about Long John Silvers!] We got the bright idea to try out Cancun restaurant a few days ago… when it seemed almost all other places were closed after 10p. Why is that? 9−10p restaurants just close?! Anywho, so there we go through the drive-thru… chicken burrito, rice n beans, chips, guac — simple right? Well, I can say the guac was at least edible… chips fair, rice n beans fair, but the main course, the chick burrito was a mushy & soggy mixture of I’m not sure what… Mina was able to somehow identify a few pieces of chicken, at least she thinks they were chicken. Scary to say the least — beware. Although, I do wish I was in Cancun.
