No, just absolutely no. I am from the Alief area and the tapioca in Bellaire doesn’t make this place look too appealing. I ordered a watermelon slush here and expected your usual watermelon with some ice and sugar, you know the normal way anyone would make a watermelon slush. but I saw them put powder flavored watermelon with ice and at that moment I knew it was going to be bad. I gave it a try anyways and no surprise but it tasted like a watermelon jolly rancher! All I wanted was real watermelon!!!

Great place to get bubble drinks in the area. The tapioca is always fresh and the various teas are great. Great prices as well.

I occasionally have the craving for tapioca but i just can’t justify the drinks here. The quality is poor and the prices are higher than a lot of other places. It’s the only tapioca place in the area so they pretty much have free reign to do whatever they want at whatever price they want. I’m not a big fan of this place but like i said before, it’s the only one in the area. I’ve been here about 3 times and each time left me in disappointment. I gave this place a 3 star because the service is great. The girls are so sweet and friendly. Walking in, you see a stand of snacks to the left and the counter to the right. Behind the counter are about 10 containers of flavor powder and 10 containers of syrup for their drinks. Yikes. That set off some alarms for their quality of the drinks. I wanted to go with something safe so I ordered the café sua da with coffee jelly. Can’t really go wrong with the jelly but the café, it had a sour aftertaste. Eh… Not very fresh. The next time I came back I got the jasmine milk tea with tapioca. It didn’t have much jasmine flavor and the tapioca was plain too. They also stuck together in one huge clump. Guessing that’s not fresh either. The last and final time I came back, I ordered the matcha milk tea with tapioca cause I was craving some and it’s the only one in the dang area. The matcha of course was powder but oh well. It didn’t have a strong matcha flavor. And the tapioca was flavorless and has morphed into one huge clump! Gah please work on that!

This was the first tap place my friend and I went to when we came down here. I’ve been to Taiwan and had the best tap possible, but I’ll only compare this to places back in Virginia just to be fair. However, after going to several different tap places in Houston since this first visit, I can easily compare it to those places now too. First off I will say that the owner is very nice and helpful. The workers are nice too. Kudos to them for maintaining a good atmosphere, but service can only go so far. The drinks here are pretty sweet in my opinion, as in overly sugary. I didn’t think the yogurt drink was that great, contrary to what was recommended to me as a «popular» drink. Why? It tasted like that yakult thing or w.e. mixed in with stuff. It was just way too tangy-sweet for what I was expecting. Ice to drink ratio is ok, not terrible, but not the best either. Tapioca pearls were… not that bad actually. I’m trying to recall what they were like but I can’t seem to remember, so that makes it that makes it not too memorable but not too terrible either. Average, I guess? 3.99 a drink was what I thought a steal before, but now that I’ve had larger portioned, better tasting, and cheaper drinks elsewhere in Houston, I don’t want to pay that much or anywhere near that much in Houston ever again. 6/10, would hesitantly come again, once in a while.

Strawberry Banana is amazing! The young girl and her dad make fresh food every day for sale packaged on the counter. It is sooooooo good. I’ve tried the rice, pork, and egg rolls. Very good.

Love love love this place! It’s in a little bitty shopping center on Scarsdale. There are always two girls working there that are so sweet, there used to be an older man that was always there but I think he retired. The have food all over the counter which i love looking at but I’m always scared of trying new things… I love their animal shaped breads on the little cart along with some other pastry things I never know what it is. I always order the vanilla cappuccino blended combination. I have ordered the green tea and Thai tea and everything is always pretty good. Which I lived closer to this place, or maybe not because I would be broke!

Tea, tea and did I say tea? The owner was super nice and I liked the board because it was colorful and legible :) I had a Ginger honey green tea and a strawberry tea both with Tapioca. My partner and I are hooked. The food looked good but was just sitting on the counter, like chicken in a package on the counter. Didn’t wanna run down food temperature 101 rules with anyone. The older gentleman asked if I wanted extra tapioca, he’s a wizard because he already KNEW :)

This place is like home away from home. Reasonably priced at 3.99 a cup, the drinks here are delicious. Not only that, but the workers here are so nice, they would work with you to make your perfect drink. Its good to see some real fruit added to my drink compared to some other places. They have so many flavors, the possible of drink combinations are endless. The Strawberry Mango, Vanilla Cappuccino, and Green Milk Teas are my favorite of the bunch. And they are very generous with the amount of tapioca you get, I often complain not having enough tapioca balls at some places but with this place… I still have leftover ones after finishing my drink! A+++

The people are friendly but the tapioca sucks. Fruit teas are always overly sweet and the tapioca pearls are always stuck together in one huge clump.

I love tapioca in all of it’s delicious forms so I was excited when I drive by this place en route to a work related assignment. I’m glad I decided to stop because the smoothie I got was delicious. Peach mango with tapioca balls(as per the recommendation of whoever was was working) did not disappointment. Smooth, creamy and full of flavor. Customer service was just as impressive. Both girls working behind the counter were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely return, probably today

The only place I go to for Tapioca. The owners now know me personally, that’s how often I go there, lol! They even offer a stampcard, which is a nice plus :) Trust me, the best place for Tapioca, I usually get a vanilla latte, milk tea or Taro tea!

I’m very particular and picky about my tapioca and only go to certain places that I like. I’m not from this side of town but since I was craving it I decided to give it a try. The worker was very nice and polite and helped me on different suggestions since she asked if it was my first time there. I tried the milk tea with tapioca and I must say I was impressed. The drink was delicious! The tapioca was also good. It wasn’t too hard, too chewy and didn’t seem too over cooked or undercooked. I’m only giving it 4 stars cuz I thought it was a little too sweet for me but others might prefer that. Overall I would definitely go here again to get my tapioca fix

One of my go-to tapioca places in the Southeast area. I love that it is a small family owned and operated business. The customer service is always excellent. The people that work here are so friendly, and answer any questions that I have. I’ve never had a bad drink from here. The prices are reasonable, and one sinker is included with each drink. I recommend the mung bean and durian smoothie if you like super asian favors like I do. I can’t find this combination anywhere else, so this is what I tend to get here.

Finally, tried this place out after my sister begged me to go for the longest. Now I can’t get enough of their drinks. First time I went I had lychee with tapioca it was very very good and had sweet taste just like the candy or gummies. The recent visit I had strawberry & chocolate(just wanted to try a combination drink), the drink itself was ok, just didn’t have bursting flavors like lychee. Wish the drinks were all made by scratch, but I guess they are all made with powder, some kind of fruit, and liquid base. Love the fruit jellies instead of the tapioca balls. Want to return to try some wrapped food and coffee drinks. Great place. Just $ 3.99 for a drink

WOWWOWWOWOWOWOWOWOWOW!!! Honestly when I first walked into this place I was thinking in my head the owner is going to be super rude to me, and he isn’t going to like me because I am black. Lol, but I WASWRONG!!! This guy loved me, he was so sweet, and funny. Him and his brother immediately started to joke and laugh with me. I did let him know how I felt when I walked in, and he told me he is nice to anyone and everyone who walks in. Prices are a lot cheaper than that spot on Fuqua. They are $ 3 for drinks. The owner I think he said his name was Peter(because when he told me I was thinking of that peanut butter brand) recommended that I tried Strawberry Passion Fruit Green Tea with fruit jellies at the bottom lol that was a mouth full, and literally it was. I stayed in that spot for a bout an hour talking, and laughing. Wow they made me feel very welcomed and warm. Wow, I will most likely be coming back. They sell food too, and some good Vietnamese cookies with sesame seeds.
