History

Established in 2013.

Sweet Carolina Vapors is owned and operated by Penny and Richard Barr. Penny was born and raised in Eastern North Carolina and lived there most of her life. In 1994, she moved to Texas, she now calls Houston home. Richard was born here in Houston, but spent many years in Hattisburg, Mississippi. Together they have four grown children (and some wonderful in-​laws they think of as their children, too) and three amazing grandchildren.

Penny and Richard started vaping over a year ago after being introduced by a friend. Like most, they were hesitant to try something new. They’d tried quitting for years with patches, nicotine gum, lozenges, Chantix… you name it, they tried it. They even tried those Blu electronic cigarettes and those silly plug-​in ones from the mall kiosk. So, after many months of failed attempts and hundreds of waisted dollars, they found the Ego and e-​liquid. It changed their lives and cigarettes have now become a thing of the past
