The room appeared clean on the surface. After a long day, we weren’t picky and just wanted a safe, clean place to sleep. There were scuff marks on the walls, but that’s not surprising. The toilet seat is loose and slides when you sit on it. Mental note: Sit carefully lest you end up with an unintended booty bath. When I went in to take a shower, the soap rest was wet and had leftover scum from soap on it. The rest of the bathroom looked clean so I dismissed it. We took our showers and settled our kiddo to bed. Then I climbed into the other bed… only to discover that the blankets had multiple smears of an unknown, hard, crusty substance on them… proof of a much better night someone else(or a couple of someones) had in the same bed on another night. The sheets under the blanket looked clean and our kiddo was already sleeping in the other bed so my husband went to ask for a clean blanket. They told us they didn’t have any clean blankets and that we would have to wait till morning and speak to housekeeping to get a clean blanket. They didn’t offer to even give us a new room or get a clean blanket from an empty room. So we ripped the blanket off and my husband said he would sleep there. We got into our respective beds feeling like 1950’s TV stars in our separate beds, turned on the TV and found a movie to curl up with. In the middle of the movie(at the climax, of course), their Direct TV went out. Even after it rebooted, the sound didn’t come back and the display remained full of static lines. So much for our movie. I’d love to say we had a good experience, but we didn’t. Dirty bathroom, dirty bed, and completely unhelpful staff when we brought our concerns to their attention. My recommendation: Stay somewhere else.

Place rating: 4 Nashville, TN
I’m giving this place four stars as it was clean, well lit and there was nothing run down about this place. I had to pay $ 60 for the night which was not a bad deal considering other places wanted to charge me $ 75 approx. It’s run by an Indian family which is the case in most motels here in the United States(chuckles). The staff was hospitable and prompt in their work. Just a standard place to crash for the night. My room had two queen beds with an attached kitchen which was pretty cool incase you have to spend a week or so here. If you have a flight from Houston international airport and are looking for a reasonable yet clean place to stay this is it. It about a 15min drive to the airport and a better option as the places closer to the airport are way more expensive.
