I went here to get a bridesmaid dress belt made out of the sash that came with my dress (bride’s request — she didn’t want any bows) on January 12^th. The sash was approximately 6′ long and 2″ wide when I brought it in. The bride had requested we size it down to 1″ wide along with getting it made into a belt (hook & eye clasp & extra fabric removed). I explained this to the woman working there and showed her pictures of another bridesmaids who had already gotten hers done elsewhere. She measured me wearing the dress (29″) and told me to come back on January 19^th, one week later. I left my phone number and name with the belt fabric. I return on the 19^th & she told me she had fixed the width but she had forgotten to write down my measurement — no call or anything prior to my arrival. We take my measurement again, but I am not wearing the dress this time & I was measured to be 28″. I told her I thought it had been 29″ when I was there last, and I asked her if she would mind doing 2 hook & eye clasps at 28″ and 29″ — she said that was fine, and I did get this at the end. She tells me to return tomorrow (January 20^th). I receive a text message from her around 4:30 on the 20^th saying the belt is ready, and they would be open until 6:15pm — I tell her I will be there before 6:15. Why couldn’t she have called or texted when she realized she hadn’t written down my measurements??? I will never know. I go to pick up the belt on the 20^th, and she pulls it out and it is almost 3 – 3.5″ wide now. I said «wait, I needed this to be 1» wide” and she says «ohhhh I thought you said 1″ wider! I’m sorry! Come back tomorrow, and it will be done». I asked the price at this point just out of curiosity — she says $ 32.48. My jaw drops. I was thinking to myself, maybe she will discount it once I return for the THIRD TIME on the 21^st (the wedding is the 23^rd, mind you). NOPE. Went back today, January 21^st, on my lunch break, and it was finally ready, and I paid $ 32.48 for it. Horrible customer service. Horrible product at the end of the day. Outrageous prices. I will NEVER return here.

I’ve been coming here for about a year now and I get excellent service every time. Monica is very friendly and always, ALWAYS, does an incredible job with my alterations and has made some very beautiful dresses for me. It is true about her not being there sometimes, but that is because she will go to fabric stores with customers, sometimes, she did with me a couple times, and help you pick the best fabric for whatever it is she is making for you. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND HER.

I will use them again with caution. Unprofessional in their business hours. I drive in from the west side during their posted hours but no one could help me. The work I’ve had done in the past was fine, and I’ll post again for good service if I try again, but customer service is king and this was a poor job for her to leave the store. The person left behind was not apologetic or claiming an emergency … just oh well, no one here to help fit you, come back again. Randomly? no way, now I’m forced to call ahead instead of just going by during stated hours.

Monica does a fine job at a fair price. She made substantial revisions to my Tuxedo, suits and shirts with excellent results. She is our entire family’s seamstress /​Tailor.

I pass by Stitches Couture everyday going to work. I see beautiful dress in the window and wonder if I will ever need a seamstress. Well I purchased a dress from #tbdress and it need some hem alterations. I took it to the shop and met the nicest lady around, Monica. She is knowledge in her craft and did a wonderful job on my dress. She told me that she makes custom clothing for her clients just give her the picture and bam! you have it perfectly. I will be coming back very soon.

This really is as good as it gets. Monica works hard and is extremely friendly and GOOD AT WHAT SHE DOES. I highly suggest this place. I was preparing to go on a trip to Ibiza, Spain and I wanted to have some garments (2 guys’ shirts, shorts and trousers). She had all four garments done in a week. And, all of the garments are impeccably made.
Am I being too schmaltzy for you? Because I mean EVERY word I am saying. You won’t regret trusting her with your custom clothing.
