Avoid this location! It takes FOREVER to get your order even when it’s not busy! Most of the baristas are super unfriendly too. Not even a smile on anyone’s face this morning when I stopped.

Smaller than your normal Starbucks and parking is TERRIBLE. Good thing Chipotle(right next door) has that whole EColi scare impacting sales or I’m sure I wouldn’t have found a parking spot, let alone have been able to get in the parking lot. My iced latte tastes like it would anywhere else — Starbucks is consistent.

Drive thru on a Thursday morning. They don’t give you your total in the morning until you get to the window. Only at the window do you notice that you were charged for a croissant when you wanted a plain bagel… I’ll stick to ordering inside…

This store sucks !!! The workers are rude! They paid no attention to me giving me my food or when I was ordering it. I was hanging half way out the window in the drive thru trying to grab my stuff because the guy working was talking to his coworker and had his back to me. Terrible customer service! I hope they get shut down its a waist of money.

Service is great. Workers are friendly, but every time I’ve gone, the order has come out wrong. Nothing tastes how it is supposed to taste.

(This is a review for the Starbucks on Hwy 6 and 290. The storefront picture on Unilocal depicts the one on 290 and Spring Cypress.) This place is awful. Honestly, compared to every other Starbucks in Northwest Houston, this one is the worst. I spend a fair amount of time hanging out in Starbucks, so I know the regular environments. Avoid this one and take the 5 minutes to drive to either the one on 1960/Fallbrook or the one at 290/Spring Cypress. We walked in at 8pm, ungreeted, which is somewhat usual and fine. Went to the counter, waited for at least a minute without any acknowledgement. The baristas at this Starbucks are stone cold and aren’t friendly at all. The place itself is okay. It used to be super tight, and you’d never be able to find a place to sit. Now they’ve expanded their interior seating(no couches though) and they have an outdoor patio area. So finding a place to sit wasn’t that bad really. I got a Decaf Hazelnut Macchiato and then later a Passionfruit Tea. The DHM was definitely amazing tasting, but they left about an inch at the top of space, which was a waste of my money. But yes, it tasted great, which was the only thing saving this review from getting one-star. The PT was a watery mess compared to usual. This was a refill, so maybe they put more effort into first orders, but that’s really no excuse. Other gripes: The baristas started vacuuming the pastry shelf at like 9pm(they close at 11pm), which was so loud that I couldn’t even hold a conversation. The parking lot is really tight and shared with a bunch of other businesses. The place had gotten a bit emptier at 10:30, they turned down the music, and it was silent and awkward to have stayed there until closing, so don’t expect to hang out until 11pm. And to complain once more with emphasis, the baristas are unfriendly and inattentive. Needless to say, I will go out of my way never to return to this Starbucks location.

VERY slow. Nice staff they are just slow. I was the only person there and it took 10min to get my peppermint mocha. There were 3 people working. Other people that came wile I was sitting had to wait longer than normal as well

I come here all the time and I know that holidays are crazy crazy busy and stressful. They must have hired one or two new people but… one of the baristas just said«WOW. I’m sorry,»(to multiple customers at one time) «apparently everyone in here is incompetent today. Guess I’ll just have to make all these drinks myself.» My sweet little new barista looks like she’s about to cry. Definitely not a good experience and that girl should be totally embarrassed of herself. awful. I’ll be avoiding this location this season.

Love this place. Excellent location — always busy. I am here just about everyday. The crew knows me well and usually has my order ready before I even get up to the counter to pay. Thanks guys.

I prefer small local and occasionally odd coffee shops, but sometimes Starbucks is my only option. In Houston for a class on the other side of town, I needed coffee, and I needed it strong. I had no idea what I wanted, but I knew I needed espresso. I explained to the barista what I wanted, and how I liked it and she whipped up an off menu drink. The drink was excellent, and it made me feel special. Who doesn’t like feeling special? Now if only I could remember what it was called to tell the local Starbucks I would be in good shape.
