Spine Cor Associates of Houston is headed by Dr. Lamantia and Dr. Gary Deutchman. Dr. Deutchman began treating Scoliosis patients in 14 years ago and since then has gained a reputation as being one of the première leaders in the field of non-surgical scoliosis treatment in the country. His expertise was recognized by his peer physicians from around the country and he is regularly referred difficult cases. In 2004, Dr. Deutchman began collaborating with Dr. Marc Lamantia who brought new procedures and expertise in neurologically based postural reeducation techniques to the program. Since that time both have become the most experienced Certified Providers in the US successfully treating thousands of patients across the country with scoliosis. They are also both Schroth Certified instructors and provide this scoliosis specific exercises to our patients.

Dr. Marc Lamantia, M.S. D.C., DACNB is a leader in the Non-Surgical treatment of scoliosis. He is a board certified Chiropractic Neurologist and a founding member of the research based Society of Spinal and Orthopedic Rehabilitation Treatment (SOSORT). He is an adjunct faculty member at the New York Chiropractic College and Life College of Chiropractic West and is also is also currently pursuing his PhD in Neuropsychology Rehabilitation. His current research project includes identifying effects of chronic spinal deformities on brain function. He is the head of the Science Advisory board for the Non-profit Scoliosis Care Foundation. His unique training and many years of clinical experience are invaluable in the management of both adolescent and adult scoliosis
