Southwest Alignment is the only shop that I will take my vehicles for alignment. They are straight up and honest and will not sell you work that does not need to be done. Lee and the others are great to work with if you want to do your own repairs and will help you through the process. Very reasonably priced even for BMW alignments. Highly recommend!

Lee and Tiana (hopefully I spelled it right) really run an honest and professional operation. They made me feel very comfortable and the technicians did a great job on my vehicle. I will definitely be back in the future.

Best place for alignments in Houston. Price is reasonable for standard vehicles and they know what they are doing. I had my car aligned at another auto repair shop and they had actually made it worse — brought it to Southwest and they got it correctly done within half an hour and at a price that was a third less.
This shop specializes in only alignments and is the best place to bring your vehicle for alignments.

This place was great! I called several places that had good ratings in Houston for a basic wheel alignment, and most were quoting pretty high prices. This place was very affordable, got the work done quickly, and then they took the time to explain in detail the work that was done. I was very satisfied with my experience here and would definitely return.

I took my wife’s car in this morning to get an alignment and to make sure the tires were balanced. They did the work quickly as I was there at 8 and was out by 9:30.

UPDATE: After being thoroughly satisfied with my first alignment with the BMW, I decided to let SW Alignment do my new control arm install (as they will re-​align afterwards for free). The guy at the counter put his «best» tech on it. Needless to say I was not impressed. A couple of things:
1) The mechanic put the car on the lift and proceeded to tighten the bolts of the arms with the car hanging with the suspension loaded (i.e., wheels off the ground). This is not good and will cause the bushings to bind as you’re not tightening the arms in their most relaxed state. Any qualified-​suspension tech will know that you tighten the bolts with the suspension loaded.
2) He tightened the arms using an impact wrench (why? impact wrenches notoriously overtorque nuts — more on that later).
3) When I came back to ask them to loosen and re-​tighten the arms on the ramp (with wheels on and suspension loaded), he asked me why didn’t I tell him that earlier. Uh, you’re the mechanic and why are you blaming me for not telling you?! You guys are an alignment shop dealing with suspension issues all day long for crying out loud. If you can’t do it then don’t tell me you can and charge me $ 300.
4) I asked him to torque to specs and luckily I brought my torque wrench as a precaution (luckily i did)…evidently they tighten suspension parts by impact guns and don’t even have torque wrenches on site.
5) The tech refused to realign my car afterwards… i explained that the guy at the counter said alignments were free of charge after new parts were installed but evidently he didn’t believe it. I couldn’t believe this and the store managers were not in yet (Friday morning) so I just got out there as fast as I can.
Short story… go there for alignments (5-​stars) but not installs or repairs (1-​star) — average of 2 as I’m rounding down. I seriously question the competency of the shop for that sort of work. Usually I’m not one to be so critical but it was pretty off-​putting to be blamed for something the tech should’ve known all along.

I was here 3 months ago. Then it was $ 70 to get my Q7 with 21″ wheels aligned. I went back in today because I was so impressed last time. It was $ 80 today. When I asked why it was $ 10 more than it was three months ago, the only answer I received was, «because it’s an Audi.» I even looked at their price sheet. It said $ 70 for Audi, Mercedes, ect. And then they had a «bigger wheel» price. It said 20″ was still $ 70 and then the next was a 22″ wheel for only $ 75. When I questioned why it wasn’t $ 75 instead of $ 80, the only answer given was, «because it’s an Audi.»
I would’ve given them the same 5 star review they received when I came in three months ago. But I feel as if I was cheated out of $ 10 because I’m a woman in a nice vehicle who doesn’t know anything. Pretty disappointed.

Very professional team. I took my Lexus on a Thursday afternoon and was done in 30 minutes. No adders or excuses. Straight $ 60 for the 4 wheel alignment. Very happy and satisfied.

No issues fast friendly and done correctly

This guys are seriously awesome! I went to get my 2010 Toyota Corolla serviced. I showed up at 5:21 and was walking out at 5:56. The the lobby was full but it cleared out fairly quickly. The receptionist was a bit quiet but was extremely nice.
Suffice it to say, I will be back. The team was courteous and efficient. :)

I went in to get my 2013 nissan aligned. It took about 30 minutes because I was there at 9ish in the morning. It may take longer later in the day I was told. They were quick and efficient. The car is driving better now and isnt pulling to one side. The only reason why it isnt 5 star is because the staff aren’t exactly friendly. When I had asked him a question about the alignment, he didnt say a word and just handed me the receipt to sign. I signed and walked away. Maybe it was too early in the morning for him :)

Brought in a 2014 Mercedes for an alignment and they got to me right away. The alignment was completed and the mechanic took pictures of an issue that required an additional part to correct.
I was shown before/​after alignment readings, as well as an additional final reading after giving the go-​ahead to install the additional part. Everything was spot on.

$ 70 for the alignment, $ 70 for parts and labor due to the additional issue that was found. Way cheaper than getting it done at Mercedes, who would have charged even more for the parts!
The staff was professional and friendly, and the mechanics were knowledgeable. Definitely coming back here for my next alignment.

In and out in 20 minutes first thing on a Saturday morning. $ 60. Car is now driving straight. They could have explained how the car was out of alignment and how they fixed it, but if end result is a good alignment, I don’t really care too much.

I have been going to Southwest Alignment for many years because of their great service.
My front end was rattling, so I took it in today. There were a lot of customers waiting. But, they had all bays working efficiently, so I got done on my lunch break.
They found a loose control arm and tightened it to eliminate the rattle. They also refastened my wiring harness whose straps had broken for the price of an estimate, $ 20.
Most shops in the area use them and recommend them to their customers.

The people here were very nice and gave good advice. Unlike a lot of other places they didn’t try and add other services or come up with problems for my truck. I will definitely be bringing my wife’s car here and will be telling my family and friends on how great and fast the service is here.

Do not go to this place. Like most auto shops they try to scam you. I brought my car in to get the alignment done. They said I had to get my ball joints to be replaced, most likely because I’m a female and thought I would just pay for anything. And I had to pay for their time, $ 20, to pretty much jack up my car on the ramp and bs me. I took to a friend who’s a mechanic, who doesn’t have his own shop, and he said my ball joints were fine! I swear the nerve of some place. Be aware and take your business somewhere else.

Very good and quick service with my alignment on my Hyundai Genesis sedan. I was in and out of the place within 45 mins after my arrival and they have a lot of techs there to work on any alignment services. Even one of the tech guys came out to show me about the alignment work since he knows that I’m a car guy.

I have known about Southwest alignment since they were still in the old location on Skyline. Throughout the years, I have heard great things about them. I had taken my old cars to their Skyline location a few times, but ever since they moved to the Richmond location quiet a few years ago, I haven’t taken any of my other cars back. I know I’ve been slacking with my car maintenance.
I decided that after owning my car for 5+ years, it was finally time to bring her in for an alignment. I called in first to ask about the wait time. I was told roughly 30 minutes in and out and that it would cost me $ 60. What? That’s it?! Yup. $ 60 to have my car aligned. I had thought of getting Firestone lifetime alignment, but that would have run me $ 170. I would have to bring my car in at least three times to get my money worth and since I’ve only gotten one alignment in the past five years, I just didn’t think it was worth it. By the way, a wheel alignment would run me $ 80 at Firestone. And these prices were «internet’ prices. So I’m not sure how much they would quote you if you were to bring your car in without checking online first.
Anyway, I brought my car in to SW Alignment and within five minutes someone came out to take my car to start working on it. They have six alignment bays here, so unless they have more than six cars at any one time then chances are they’re going to start working on your car right away which means that you’ll never have to wait very long. Which is a good thing. Why? Well, the only bad thing about SW Alignment is they have a small wait room with no TV and no Wi-​fi. No coffee either so unless you have your phone on you or a tablet with internet connection, or a book, that’s going to be a pretty boring 30 minutes wait.
My car was done at about the 30 minutes mark. However, the guy working on the car took her out for a test drive and then putting her back in the alignment bay for some final adjustments. Another 10 minutes and I was good to go.
P. S. If you check in here on Unilocal,they offer 10% off your bill. I checked in after I had paid and I didn’t bother claiming it. It was already pretty cheap and I had somewhere else to go. But for you other people wanting to bring your car in, make sure you check in here!

Quick and easy! They are soo freaking awesome, I needed an alignment after getting new tires and every time I drove noticing when I let go of the wheels that my wheel would veer towards the right, also my tread on my tire was being odd.
I went to wal-​mart to get it done but they don’t do alignments but the guy suggested southwest alignments on Richmond. I seriously thought I was going to be their nontypical clientele because I look down richmond and my tiny hatchback Kia doesn’t fit the description of having tricked out rims or being a low rider. I went in the guy said $ 60 for an alignment for my Kia rio and said 30 minutes tops to finish and he could take it in right away as I was still filling out the paperwork.
Waiting wasn’t all that long and before I knew it we were done and out, $ 60 gets you 6 months warranty or 6,000 miles, so that’s stinkin awesome. I called around for quotes and pep-​boys told me 79.99 for 3 months and 109.99 for a year. No thanks, a flat $ 60 and awesome service and we were in and out. Totally know where I’m coming back next time! Yay! :)
