Sonic Drive In

Probably the best sonic burgers I’ve had. At lunch. Had a problem one evening that they *did take care of* the following day. Ordered a #2 combo with only mayo, and of course once I opened the burger in my car, miles down the road, the burger is all the way. Too far to turn back, had to scrape the stuff off and eat it, but definitely did call back the next day. They immediately took down my name and offered a replacement meal on the house. I came in at lunchtime for this, and the burger was outstanding as expected.

If you’re prepared to, or have the patience to wait for your order to be taken, this is place is for you! My friend and I have waited approximately around ten minutes to get our order placed and another 10+ minutes to get your food. Although, the food isn’t great either and don’t get me started it the coffee. It’s absolutely watered down and tastes like hot tap water with coffee beans, not the crushed coffee beans. No, th actual coffee beans with hot water. Horrible.

We had to wait around 6 or seven minutes just to get our order taken. Like we pushed the button and just sat there. After we ordered (three drinks, mozzarella sticks, one hot dog), we waited 25 MINUTES!!! What? Are we at a sit down restaraunt? We didn’t order steaks. We didn’t even order full meals! This is a fast food restaurant but there was nothing fast about it. When the carhop came she didn’t know which drink was which. There are a ton of sonics in town. Go to another.

Judging by the reviews, others like this place more than I. My sister in law loves it but shes not writing this review. Their million man milkshakes are good and I like the tater tots. That’s about it for me. I get hot dogs here with some regularity, but that’s only because I love hot dogs and there’s no where else near me that has them. The only place I know of that has a good hotdog is about 10 miles away. I really don’t enjoy their dogs but I have to do something so tamp down the craving, so I get dogs I don’t particularly care for here. Once somebody brought burgers from here and they were OK.
I’m always in conflict with whether to tip here. They don’t have a drive thru window like every other fast food place on Earth. So, a person brings you your order by walking from the front door to the adjacent pickup waiting area. Somehow I resent tipping for a less that good hotdog, brought on a short one-​way walk just because they refuse to have a drive thru window like everybody else. I know, it doesn’t reflect well on me – that’s why I’m torn about it. Sometimes I tip, other times I don’t and there no rhyme or reason to which it is.

I had the best carhop ever at this location. I’m so sorry I couldn’t tip him more than I did. He was amazing. I was very impressed.

Always have good service. Food is usually fresh and hot. Request your napkins and ketchup when ordering as with all Sonics there is usually only 1 or 2 napkins… no ketchup. I love the limeades and blasts.

cmon its dessert, a simple strawberry sundae @ sonic. cant really go that wrong or be wrong?!
