Needed to have my college ring resized and of course turned to Unilocal to see who in the area was recommended. I called several other stores who refused to even give me a ballpark quote over the phone for the resizing — I had to come into the store to receive a quote. Silverlust was my last call and they were SO courteous and gave me a very competitive ballpark quote over the phone as well as turnaround time. They said that I could drop my ring off as soon as I was ready! They were so courteous and told me the ring would be ready in 3 business days — which it was! In fact, they even charged me less than the ballpark quote they originally gave. I’m SO impressed by Silverlust and all their staff. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for jewelry resizing or repair!

My fiancé and I were looking for the engagement rings.
We wanted something special and unusual. We have been in many jewelry stores. One of our friends advised us to go to Silverlust.
This is a great shop. Friendly seller helped us to choose our engagement rings. Rings are insanely beautiful and I love them very much. I want to say that Silverlust has a good choice of engagement rings. They sell very beautiful silver jewelry as well. There is also a workshop for repair of jewelry.

I want to tell you only good words about Silverlust. I bought there a ring for anniversary.
To tell the truth I do not deal well with jewelry, so I hoped that knowledgeable workers would help me. And they did. The employee helped me to choose I nice ring with a quality stone. To my surprise the prices were not very high.
This store has a big choice of unique and quality jewelry, so everyone will find what fit to their style. So this store made my wife and me very happy.

I have been here several times and have been completely satisfied every time. However, this last visit was the absolute best. I brought in my wedding band, an eternity ring, because I was unhappy with the way it sat on my finger alongside my engagement ring. I explained my thoughts to Herschel, the owner, who acknowledged my dilemma and and immediately began working with me to create a design for a new ring. Within 5 – 10 minutes we had a ring design that I was happy with. After picking up my ring today I can say I did not expect it to turn out so beautifully. They did an AMAZING job and I can’t stop staring at my ring.

Funny I have been here half a dozen times (including last weekend) and purchased numerous pieces from them, but I do not know anyone’s name. Regardless, Silverlust is an amazing boutique jewelry store. If you want reasonably priced, completely unique silver jewelry, this is the place to go. The people are incredibly friendly. They have such a wide array of jewelry, they will have something that fits your style. If they don’t, they will make it.

Lovely boutique with elegant, well-​designed, and well-​priced jewelry and watches. There is an excellent silversmith on staff, so you could work to create your own pieces.
The staff and the owner, Herschel, are really focused on customer service. They repair jewelry and replace watch batteries, too. I found a gorgeous silver and green amethyst bracelet that was more than I could spend, but I was able to put it on lay-​away.
If you see a piece you like, you should get it because stuff goes fast, and while there may be something similar, you likely won’t find anything precisely like what you loved, unlike in chain jewelry or department stores.
The store is in a vintage strip center in Montrose, immediately adjacent to a smoke and sex toy shop. The two stores couldn’t be more different, but watch what door you use. I wasn’t paying attention the first time I went, and it was a shock seeing a wall of dildos when I was expecting earrings and pendants.

Well its easy to see why you would want to do biz here. Great prices, awesome sause service, and the girl that rang me up, OMG! But really, they fixed my broken gold chain for $ 25. 1980s pricing! Way to rock guys!

My fiancé and I went into Silverlust looking to have a custom engagement ring made which would incorporate stones and items from an old family ring of mine. After problems with other jewelers saying it wasn’t possible, Herschel sketched something on paper right away that was exactly what she was looking for just from what she described. The finished ring was beautiful.
10 months later we went in to figure out what we wanted to do for wedding bands. With the nature of the engagement ring being custom and somewhat oddly shaped, we were skeptical about coming up with any kind of band that would look and feel right with her ring without taking away from its beauty.
Well, we should have known better after our first experience, because within seconds Herschel was describing and drawing something up on paper for a band based on what she described. Silverlust was super fast getting a wax made for us to look at, and her to try on, and she absolutely loved it. I went in and picked up the final product and I have to admit I was blown away. What Silverlust created for us far exceeded any expectation I had and I was completely floored by how it turned out. My fiancé and very soon to be wife fell right in love with it.
While I was there I was looking around and already found my next two purchases. A watch that took everything I had not to buy on the spot, and a gorgeous sterling silver business card holder. Both very reasonable in price, so much so that I will be back in no time to purchase as soon as or wedding has passed.
On top of all this, when Silverlust creates the rings and band, they very smartly created it in a way that we can add more stones and items to them in the future setting me up for so many anniversaries and birthdays to come with great gift ideas. Something every guy can appreciate.
I would absolutely recommend Herschel and Silverlust to anyone and could go on even longer about how amazing they are and how happy I have been with interacting with them. They are so knowledgeable and easy to work with and talk to, you feel right at home. My only regret is not catching the name of the gentleman that is always working with Herschel when I go in so that I could give him the proper credit and respect as I have Herschel, because he has been wonderful to work with and talk to as well.

I was looking for a Japanese/​Chinese symbol pendant for a gift the same day — everyone kept telling me to look online but since I needed it same day that was obviously not going to work. I ran around to several stores locally before I finally came here. They said all they needed was a picture and they would custom cut it. I explained that I needed the gift for dinner that night and their work load allowed them to have it for me before they closed! I was able to give my gift that evening and it was very much appreciated! Erik was awesome and they even wrapped it in a great box and bag… presentation was great!

This is a great spot to get men’s jewelry. They have a wide selection of nice quality pieces along with some unique items. Wonderful customer service, easy onsite parking, and no pressure staff. They offer sizing services along with engraving. They really want their customers to love their what they chose. I’m an out of towner but I’ll be back.

Excellent store and very friendly customer service. These guys specialize in sterling jewelry. Don’t come here looking for gold diamond jewelry. I bought a beautiful Sterling opal necklace for a great price; my girlfriend likes it very much, as do I, and it really takes what she wears and gives it a ‘pop’!
The gentleman that helped me didn’t use pushy sales tactics, and I felt very comfortable in the store. He was quick to help show me what I wanted, and what he thought I might be interested in, and he was patient.

I purchased my husband’s wedding band here and had my heirloom engagement and wedding rings resized, cleaned and appraised. But even more special, they resized a pearl necklace that my dad had given me and with the extra pearls they custom made several unique pieces of jewelry that I gave to each of my bridesmaids. The rings, necklaces, and earrings were so elegant and the girls loved them!

Silverlust has resized 4 rings for me (I have a mild vintage ring obsession) and they have done a perfect job on each one. My rings always come back to me so much more beautiful and sparkly than I left them and everyone I have been helped by has been incredibly friendly.

My fiancé and I were looking for a place to have an emerald ring of his grandmother’s reset into an engagement ring. After a string of disappointments and insanely high quotes for a custom ring, we ran across Silverlust. Herschel went above and beyond. I showed him a design that I liked (which more than one other jeweler had told me would be impossible with the stones we already had) and he sketched it out for us right then.
Herschel and his staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They were eager to help me design the ring of my dreams. I can’t even begin to explain the sense of relief I had talking to Herschel after being told, multiple times by other jewelers, that what I wanted was wrong, or that I would regret not getting a more «traditional» ring. Not once did he question me or try to convince me to go a different route. He was patient with us and answered every one of our questions. He didn’t tried to give us the hard sell, or talk us into adding pricey stones and embellishments. He was mindful of our stated budget, and was very willing to work within it.
My fiancé proposed a few days ago, and I finally got to see the finished product. I was blown away. I have a beautiful, unique ring with history and character. It means the world to my fiancé and me. I can’t wait to go back and see Herschel again when it’s time to pick out wedding rings and gifts for my bridal party.

Impeccable Customer Service and standout quality jewelry cleaning service. As long as in living in Houston I will be sure to take this my fine jewelry here.
I received my A&M ring a few years ago and didn’t do a great job cleaning it, OK I never had it cleaned. It became very dull and inhabited what looked like black grime in between all the tiny details. I purchased my own gold cleaner on Amazon and that did nothing.
I decided it was time to take it to a jeweler who know what they were doing. So I brought my ring here and to my surprise they offered to give it a quick clean for free! Although my ring did appear a little shinier it still was displayed black dirt in the cracks that really bothered me. After expressing my concern, the kind gentlemen behind the counter (wish I got his name, brown hair & beard) told me that he could try a more extensive clean that would take an hour or so that just might do the trick.
I left my ring there and a few hours later I picked it up and was AMAZED.
My ring is so much cleaner, shinier, and the gold tone was restored that I’d been missing so much. The gentlemen informed me he had to do a little research and a lot of extra polishing, which a lot of jewelers wont do. The end result is beautiful and I’m a very happy customer!

I brought my long pearl necklace here for restringing. It was ready in the amount of time they said it would be, so they already had my repeat business just for promptness. It was more than I thought it would be. Not their fault — I didn’t ask, so I probably had unreasonable expectations.
But THEN they called me a few days after I picked up the necklace and told me they had charged me too much! It was a busy day at work, so I didn’t get to pick up the call, and someone called me 2 or 3 times just to make sure I got the message. How classy is that?!
When I picked up the refund check, I mentioned how nice it was to have a business go to such lengths to refund a customer some money, and the owner said that he couldn’t keep it in good conscience.
Don’t let the appearance of the place detract you from going — they’re great people.
