Sicily Pizza

We were staying in the area pre cruise and arrived late at the airport. At check in our hotel happened to have a menu from this restaurant at the check in desk and thereceptor said they dodeliver tothe hotel, so we decided to order.
We ordered a calzone, chicken wings and canoli for dessert. The cost was $ 25 and was delivered nice and hot to our room in about 40 min.
The wings were over cooked and we’re not at all juicy. They were served floating in a pool of wing sauce with maybe one tablespoon of blue cheese dressing for dipping. The Calzone however was excellent. A great flavor and prefect crispness on the crust and the mozerella and ricotta filling was delicious. The portion was huge and good for two people to split. The canoli was also delicious!

My Favorite Pizza Place !! Love the crust Generous toppings !!! That blend of thin and soft crust… Also usually get a greek salad Large and Fresh. The Garlic knots are hot soft and to die for. My delivery experience has always been fast HOT and Great !!

I went there today after trying the food my co-​workers had delivered. I ordered the Philly cheese steak, and a Chicken fettuccine to go since I couldn’t make up my mind. The food is wonderful and well priced. The owner not only takes the orders he also cooks. Everything is fresh made to order.

I have ordered from them several times, and have never had an issue. Glad there’s new management, it’s made a HUGE difference! Hopefully they will continue to do well.

My husband and I have ordered from here many times and have always been happy with what we get. Our favorite is their deep dish pizza, which we ask them to make the crust extra crispy, almost burnt. I highly recommend this pizza parlor to everyone!

I wish I had read the reviews before ordering delivery. I ordered the deep dish pizza and buffalo chicken wings. the pizza was cut in squares which im not a fan of. the crust was so hard that even their own attempt to cut the pizza didn’t go through completely. I had to use our pizza cutter to cut it though again. My 5 year old son loves deep dish crust but in this case he couldn’t even bite into it. the deep dish pizza here is by far… the worst. I cant believe I ordered a large. I only had one piece. the chicken wings were nothing special. it is more on the dry side if you like buffalo wings like that. The delivery time wasn’t too bad and the customer service on the phone was nice. But quality and price of the pizza… just not worth it. sadly, pizza hut and dominos are better choices compared to sicily.

Not the worst pizza I’ve ever had and nowhere near the best. Not a lot of attention to detail and delivery times are understandably long, but not really worth waiting for. There are better options in the Southbelt/​Ellington area as far as pizza goes.

Got a pizza with a roach on it once. Management refused to give me a refund and stated «it must have come from my house». When I pointed out that the roach actually baked into the cheese, they still wouldn’t give a refund. Never again.

This is the second time I’ve ordered from this restaurant since new owner. My first order was great as expected but tonight was the worst and last. It was so bad that I don’t want to risk wasting my hard earn money on getting such a disappointing meal. I ordered chicken fettichini Alfredo and small all out pizza called joes special.
To start with it took 1hour and half to be delivered. (I still tipped driver $ 10.00)The noodles were so over cooked and soggy. No flavor to the sauce. I could get better from a TV dinner for less money. The pizza was over cooked and slightly burnt. I’m completely disgusted with this quality of food and lack of care about there food. Never again! Take my review serious for I don’t slam business like this ever.

Not a sit down restaurant…

It wasn’t completely bad, but it wasn’t that good either. The pizza was well designed and looked very attractive but the taste was bland, it had little tomato sauce on it, it mostly tasted like it was a frozen type of pizza or microwaved. I am not sure how their pizza tasted before the new management, but I will tell you that the new management doesn’t know what pizza in Sicily tastes like. I promise, Pizza Hut tastes better than them, oh and I will rarely say this but YES Domino’s pizza tastes way better than Sicily. At least, Domino’s adds flavor, seasonings, and TLC to what they are cooking.
Sicily pizza was so bland, and tasteless that I had to put some Tony Chachere’s Creole Seasoning on it, and my sister says it tastes better with Hot Sauce too.
Even Papa Johns beats this place, but too bad Papas is too expensive for my bank.
My dad said that it was a $ 30 pizza and we had a $ 5 off coupon, it didn’t taste like it needed to be $ 30 more like $ 1. Wow, that pizza was gross. Aye Spanky’s come give this place a lesson how to really make good tasting pizzas that is worth the buck!!!
We had ordered a large chicken, and hamburger pizza. The hamburger tasted like it was just hamburger and grease. The chicken was trying to taste better, but still failed. Oh well, it didn’t satisfy me and I won’t be returning.

Great pizza! We got the ⁸¹⁄₂ # pizza. It is always good and they never scrimp on the toppings .The service is excellent and the prices is the same. Glad they are still there under new owners.

I really love this pizza, It’s now under new ownership. I was worried about them changing the pizza or prices. The fact of the matter is that the pizza is still excellent and the service is even better than before. The prices pretty much remained the same. Thanks for the magnet and the new menu! Great job new owners whoever you may be, keep up the good work!

Just got back in town last night and happened to stop by on whim. Needless to say, I was very impressed considering that I’m a Domino’s fan. Delicious wings & perfect pizza to cap off my Friday night. I definitely plan on stopping by here more often when I’m in town.

This place used to have the best pizza and WORSE management, which is why it closed down I’m sure. It just reopened and it seems the new ownership really shaped it up! The service is now great and the wings and pizza are great! Much better then the typical Pizza Hut papa johns options!

Simple, yet very good bread sticks. Just enough garlic that they aren’t overpowering. I was less impressed with the pizza, though. Not enough garlic or oregano. I prefer the flavor of the crust at Dominos. They were very fast, though, and right around the corner from us, so it was nice and convenient when we didn’t want to wait for delivery.

The experience below happened to my relative… We should be allowed to rate «0» stars…

I submitted an order at 6:13 pm on 11÷20÷10. Exactly 45 minutes later I called in to Sicily Pizza because my order still had not been delivered. The woman on the phone sounded elderly; she stated that the online orders take 20 minutes before they receive them. I told her that this was not stated on the website.
I mentioned I was concerned about my salad being soggy. She said it wouldn’t.
There was a man in the background that I could hear. We waited a few moments on the phone and then I asked to have my order voided. She then told the man.
He grabbed the phone from her and yelled to me, „Fine! We’ll void your order, have a nice life!!“ He then hung up the phone on me.
I was shocked and called back. I immediately asked for the manager. He said, „For what?! I already cancelled your order. What part of that don’t you understand?!“
I told him that I was never rude and that I just wanted to speak to the manager. He said „no!“ and hung up again.
I called back and he threatened to call the Harris County Sheriff on me. I asked for what and he said I was harrassing him.
I told him that I am a customer and would like to speak to the manager. He said, „Your order has been cancelled – what part don’t you understand?! Have a nice life!“
Needless to say, I am shocked at his behavior. I hope he isn’t the manager/​owner.
This is terrible customer service and just plain mean. There was no reason for his EXTREME rudeness. I will make sure to share my experience with everyone I know. He would not give his name.
