Came here for breakfast, and it was really cheap, fast and good – I am talking about the food, people!!! LOL I ordered the breakfast plate with 2 fried eggs, bacon, tator tots and toast. They have tables for you to sit at, and since it is a convenience store, you get whatever you want to drink out of the walk-up cooler(including beer, etc.). Very no muss, no fuss establishment.

On Saturday when we found our original breakfast destination was closed, my brand new GPS saved the day and pointed us down the street to the Sesame Café! It’s a total working class breakfast and burger joint right in the middle of the ship channel industrial area… which is DEAD on weekends. I don’t think the Sesame is even supposed to be open on Saturday either, and we might have simple walked in there when the owner was simply there to make her OWN lunch. I’m all about the cheap eats, and here we were able to get a home-cooked breakfast plate for only $ 3.99! The eggs were good. The big stack of toast was good. The bacon was awesome. The tater tots tasted like they were fried in old egg roll oil… which was actually pretty good, IMHO… especially after Tracey found a container of salsa and ketchup bottles conveniently stored in the beer fridge next to us. What do you want to drink? Like a convenience store, they have a huge beverage cooler with all kinds of drinks, juices, soda, and of course… BEER! You gotta love that. The lady running the place was very nice, and the menu speaks for itself… check out the prices! She even sells a «Bulgogi» burger for only $ 3.99…I’m going to try that next… after I get the biscuits and gravy plate.
