SEMINARS BY DESIGN, founded by Donna Vining FASID, IIDA, RID, CAPS and Tom Schwenk, Industry partner, EcoBroker offers a variety of Health, Safety and Welfare classes as well as business-​oriented, sales, marketing and decorative arts lectures and seminars. They have been presenting seminars since 1993. They speak at Design Centers, corporate sales meetings, conventions and for associations such as ASID. They also speak at industry events such as NEOCON and other annual events. All of their courses are registered by IDCEC and range from 1 hour CEU’s to 6 hour CEU’s. They also represent a large group of other professional speakers who have registered seminars on a variety of subjects, enabling them to make it easy and entertaining for the interior design professional to learn and earn CEU’s.

History

Established in 1998.

As involved in ASID on a local and National level We started speaking together in 1992. At the advice of our audiences who implored we should be paid for pour seminars we started Seminars By Design. We speak throughout the United States and Canada. In 2003 we started producing and presenting our own seminars in Texas by 2005 we were also speaking in Tennessee and California and by 2007 we added Minnesota Wisconsin and Florida. We continue to get hired by organizations. In 2006 we started our very popular Cruise and Learn Seminars aboard Royal Caribbean and Carnival lines cruise ships out of Galveston TX. In 2010 we started doing our weekly Tuesday morning Webinars. We conitnue to grow adding 4 new Seminars a year.
