Royal Academy of Fine Arts has been offering the highest caliber ballet, tap, jazz, theatre, and voice training in the Clear Lake area for over 40 years.

We have just recently moved into a brand new, state of the art 13,000sqft facility that is unmatched anywhere in the area. It boasts triple basket-​weave sprung subfloors with brand new marley in each of it’s 4 massive studio spaces. The largest studio converts into a full-​scale performance venue where we produce musical theatre and dance performances with professional grade theatre lighting and sound to give the students every opportunity possible to perform in front of a live audience.

Our trainee program caters to students aspiring toward a professional dance career. This program offers the highest caliber instructors in Houston, specialty classes and seminars, a dedicate physical conditioning room, and various mentor opportunities with both current and former professional dancers who have achieved the highest levels of success in their field.

History

Established in 1972.

The school was founder by Lynette Mason Gregg in 1972. Since then, it has never stopped improving. After our founder’s passing, Travis Kelley has taken the wheel to guide the school into the next chapter of its legacy. Travis brings with him vast experience in dance and theatre from his successful career in classical ballet, Broadway musicals, commercials, Television, and Film. With a new leader and an energetic staff, the school is charging ahead toward its bright new future. The recent move into the beautiful new facility on Gemini St. has already received rave reviews across the board!
