This place is great! Stopped by this past weekend to get something sweet! Staff was very nice and knew what they were talking about! One young boy, Mark I think, was very helpful! I highly recommend this store if you can make it inside the mall and find parking.

I bought some Twinkies from here. They were covered in yellow icing, made to look like Stuart and Kevin the Minions. I thought they were adorable. However, they tasted terrible! I picked the icing off to see if the Twinkie was edible, only to find a very dry cake and dry cream. I don’t eat Twinkies often but I believe they’re suppose to be spongy and soft. I let my mom try the Minion Twinkie and her comment was, «Why are you feeding me year old Twinkies?!» I cannot believe they’re selling STALE Twinkies at $ 4 a piece. What a rip off!!!

I absolutely loveeee this place. I don’t know what it is about their caramel apples that make a granny smith THAT much more amazing. I love that the apples used are fresh! and STAY fresh. they are typically always busy but the apples are worth it. cheesecake is my favorite!

This past weekend I stopped by this location and had to have a sweet snack, what better way to fulfill your cravings than having some awesome milk chocolate!
I selected the toffee milk chocolate bar along with the milk chocolate walnut piece. Not one regret on my selection but do be aware… it can get pricey if not careful. The chocolate is priced by weight and there are also selections that are priced by piece.
I spent about 11 bucks for 3 pieces of chocolate but it was well worth it! To justify my actions I go further in saying that… how often does one really spend that much on chocolate? Not very often so why not indulge on those days that you feel you deserve it :)
The small shop in the mall is cute, fun and has lots of variety to choose from. Everyone will be delighted regardless of what your taste buds have in mind. Enjoy it as much as I did!

I am giving this place a five star review because of the clean environment, also its very affordable and delicious.
what stand’s out the most from this place is the professionalism expressed by the employees with a very welcoming attitude you will feel right at home.
Rocky Mountain Chocolate factory is also very affordable and theres always something Gourmet and delicious for everyone my favorite thing to get right now is the frozen cheesecake, and the Tamarindo apples are great it truly gives you that authentic hispanic taste, and the Chamoy on top is the icing on the cake. I definitely recommend anyone visiting Houston to try this place out, it truly gives you some of our southern Taste.

Are there any other people in this city that enjoys the bittersweet taste of candied oranges? They do not seem to make them anymore whether you go to Godiva at the Galleria or almost any other chocolate store.
Welcome to Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, I found gold here. Yes, it’s not big deal and it’s an acquired taste but if you want to get a taste than head over to this location that is inside Memorial City Mall.
I didn’t give the 4 stars just for a little ol Orange Peel Chocolate but it sure helped and will be something I will always remember when that craving comes along. There of course are loads of other chocolate neats that one would find unique and remember like the Chocolate Covered Twinkie and the vast assortment of non chocolate sweets to follow.
Customer service… it’s all over the spectrum as I have read but the younger guy that served me was let’s say «pretty cool». I didn’t get the butler type notion that «our chocolates are fancy and so is my language skills» spiel nor did I get the «Yo man, whatcha want from the case» type neither. We requested $ 6 worth of Chocolate Orange Peels and when he went to put it in our bag, we noticed he was wearing some type of wax paper glove/​wrapper to get them in there. That makes a big difference if you are a squeemish germ jerk like I am and he passed the test.
Prices, you are in a gourmet chocolate store, the cheaper chocolates are down the road at the .99 cent store and remember, speckled white on one end of your chocolate is not a good thing.
The store is small and pretty much a little packed but it’s still organized in such a way that you can feel the tactic they use to make sure you get a view of everything on one round sweet of the store.

Got the Reese’s Apple which was delicious. I love caramel apples and there is a lot of variety.

Good chocolate apples!

This chain is a sad excuse for the beloved stores I loved growing up in Colorado. The quality of the product in Houston is just downright commercialized compared to the handmade quality I was used to in Colorado from the chocolate maker. When I moved back to Houston and saw this Colorado favorite right inside of my local mall, I was absolutely excited to know I would still be able to enjoy some of my childhood favorites from Colorado. Wow, how wrong I was.
For starters, most of the product tastes as though it was made in bulk, i.e., very little attention to detail and typically «old» tasting like they made a huge batch, put some out for sale, and stored the rest in the back. It’s definitely a hit or miss as to whether you will really get a fresh product or not depending on the day. This is just so sad since RMCF is famous in Colorado for their attention to detail and handmade desserts.
Secondly, for the amount of product a typical RMCF carries, this shop is way too jam packed. I’m a small person to begin with, but I get claustrophobic in this tiny little shop with everything crammed into the middle of the store with very little room to move, let alone trying to move around another person without knocking half of the displayed candy dishes onto the floor.
Third, the staff here are all young high school or college aged kids that are very blasé about their attentiveness to customers or what they are doing. Handling food, then money, then food again without changing out gloves is just downright gross! Once I saw the employee handle the money and food in this order, I walked straight out with no chance of returning.
Fourth, the young male employees were more interested in flirting with my sister, who is close to their age, than being concerned with even taking my order. I don’t need to waste my time and money in a place where employees won’t acknowledge my presence for an overpriced product that doesn’t deliver the quality I was used to getting in Colorado.
You’re better off heading to one of the two Chocolate Bar locations than trying to squeeze into this tiny shop that has overpriced chocolate candies, bad service, and unsanitary employees.

SOOOOOOOO DELICIOUS! Every chocolate ive tasted was absolutely marvelous!

Caramel Apples, Caramel Apples, Caramel Apples! Crisp Granny Smith apples covered with thick gooey caramel dipped in various toppings like mini M&M’s, Snickers pieces, white chocolate rolled in brown sugar & cinnamon (to make «Apple Pie») or in crushed graham crackers (to be «Cheesecake»), and many other selections like mini marshmallows, chopped nuts, etc. etc. Oh my god, those apples are soooooo darn good! My favorite is «Cheesecake» and always buy one to share with my boyfriend, or my cousin who also loves caramel apples! It’s difficult to finish one big caramel apple all by myself, and I am happy already just by looking at them cute fancy apples on display in the window!

I don’t come here for their chocolate. I come here for their apples! I love their caramel apples coated with all sorts of nuts and chocolatey goodness. What better way to munch my way through the mall while window shopping than with a sticky caramel apple… make sure you get some napkins before you start rummaging through clothes. The mess is worth it though.
