Established in 2009.

RB Windows was founded by Richard Lobos in 2009. Richard had worked installing and selling windows and siding for a large company here in Houston and decided to go out on his own and offer his customers an affordable product and a quality installation. Business Owner

Richard Lobos started his construction career in Houston at a young age working along side his grandfather Alfredo and uncles installing roofs, and fences. He moved to California and began working for Pacific Home Remodeling selling and installing windows and siding. Helping thatcompany to grow into the larrgest remodeler in LOS Angeles CA. He came back home to Houston and worked for a large window and siding company and decided that what the remodeling industry lacked was customer service. He wanted to change the way the remodeling industry conducted business. Thats when RB Windows and Siding was born with a goal to offer great products and a quality installations at an affordable price.

Excellent service and excellent price.
I had all my windows replaced as well as a part of the siding fixed due to some shoddy work by a previous contractor. RB windows demonstrated the following traits that are often hard to come by:

Excellent communication and feedback
Strong attention to detail
Keeps all his promises
One of the biggest things that stuck out to me was that Richard kept his word on everything he said he would do. I often come across companies and contractors who promise the world but «forget» when they complete their job. Richard was very upfront about everything and explained everything during the process.
I felt comfortable enough to tell him if I wanted something adjusted or a small detail fixed (barely anything needed adjusting) and he did it without hesitation. He kept his word/​promises on everything he said he would deliver on without me even reminding him.
If I ever need more windows installed on other properties, I would use them in a heartbeat. The prices are great, the product quality is excellent, the service is awesome.

I had a very good experience with RB Windows. After a consultation in February and within 4 weeks the windows were delivered and installed at a fair price.. Richard the owner/​contractor was knowledgeable about retrofitting windows in my type of home. He also showed up on site to check the job. His crew was conscientious about working in the home and did a great job. Started at 9am and finished before 3pm. If you are looking to replace windows I would highly recommend RB windows. 5 stars here. Very pleased with the results.

«Why didn’t I do this sooner!!!»
That’s what I ask myself every time I come home now. For years, I agonized over replacing my 1950’s original aluminum frame windows. After 10 years of barking dogs, train whistles at 3am, and constant freeway noise, I finally made the decision to update and replace my windows. After interviewing 4 companies, I chose RB Windows & Siding and here’s why: 1) Richard is very knowledgeable about the product he sells and installs (Simonton Windows) and he made me feel very at ease with my decision (not an easy task); 2) the turnaround time was a FRACTION of the other guys (just over a week — compared to the others who took over 2 months); 3) the windows are attractive and the vinyl is not as ‘bulky’ as the other products I viewed; 4) The cost was in line with what I expected and had budgeted for.
So, I finally have peace and quiet in my house! As an added bonus, I’ve noticed that the amount of dust in my house has decreased a lot as well. Can’t wait to see how the new windows affect my utility bills.
I have already recommended Richard and his company to many others so thought I’d share my experience here too. Give him a call, you won’t be disappointed!

I cant say enough good things about our recent purchase and installation of 17 windows in our house. First off my wife’s sister referred Richard at R &B to us after having all her windows replaced. She advised us that R & B sold high quality Simonton (actually highest rated by JD powers) insulated windows an affordable price. We decided to give them a call and see what they could do for us. Richard the owner came to the house on a Saturday measured the windows and gave us a price on a great window and a top of the line window as well. Needless to say it was a great price for an impressive product line. I did a lot of review searching and found that Simonton had impressive reviews. They actually did our install this past Saturday and we couldn’t be happier. The four installers showed up at 8am which was their scheduled time. They were very respectful of our house and surroundings. They installed all the windows by 2:30, cleaned and replaced any items they had moved back to their original position. Richard the owner came by about an hour before they finished and actually cleaned the windows himself. I give R & B the highest rating and would recommend them to anyone! Craig M

I first encountered R&B Windows through a Living Social deal when I had my gutters cleaned. Richard came out and took care of all of the leaves and acorns and suggested at that time to get gutter covers. I told him I would think about it. While discussing more what services his company provided I learned Richard installed Double Pane Windows. I had already done research on window manufacturers and was pleased to find out he recommended the same company I was most interested in. Richard worked with me over a 4 month period to install windows for my whole house. On my budget I had to split it up. I received great pricing better than others I had called and great service. I love my windows and have referred Richard to some of my clients (I am in Real Estate). Since my windows were done my gutters are now full again so I decided it was time to get gutter covers. Richard just came out and took care of this for me. I have several other projects that I will be utilizing Richard and his crew on around my home in the near future. I am very pleased with all of their services that I have used.

So I bought a LivingSocial voucher for 20 windows cleaning and called to schedule a cleaning before coming up to the expiration date in May. Richard informed me they were backed up until July and gave me the option to call livingsocial to get my money back. I chose to schedule, BIG MISTAKE!
The original scheduled date was for yesterday, no show.
I called and left a message, they called back and said would come by tomorrow afternoon. They did. The guy made a remark, «it’s like coming to see the president» and asked for my voucher while he counted the number of windows I have. Came back and said, I have 59 in all and I informed him that I only wanted the 20 back windows cleaned. He said it’ll be $ 3 fee for the screens, that’s 19*$ 3 total. I got the original posting on living social, showed him: «In addition to the window panes, the screens, sills, and frames will also be cleaned.» for the price. He asked me when I bought the voucher and informed me the new listing includes extra charge and he’ll clean 10 windows for me in lieu of the 20. I said fine as he apologized for smoking in my backyard… I hate to judge the man with tattoos all over since I have a tattoos myself but this wasn’t looking good… And my intuitions were right!
15 minutes later, they were gone!!! Not even a good-​bye or letting me know which windows were cleaned, nothing! I checked the windows, no windows were cleaned! No way they could’ve cleaned 10 windows on 2 story house in that time! There were still spots on the windows!
Tried to stiff me for extra cash! No windows were cleaned, no work was done! Completely unprofessional!
I called livingsocial and got credit back to my account. The rep said there is no difference with the new listing from the old one.
I have a feeling a lot of small businesses just wanted to be paid up front by livingsocial and not do the work. As I have couple of bad experiences buying contractor work like cleaning services off livingsocial in the past.
