Excellent service. Best tattoo shop I’ve ever been to. Small and personal. Artists go out of their way to make sure to take care of their clients.

DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS PLACE!!!
Especially if it’s your first tattoo. I went in to get a simple letter to signify my wedding band. I specifically told the «artist» that I wanted it on the fourth finger (where most people wear wedding bands). Since it was my first time, I didn’t know that where they drew the tattoo is where they ink. Nothing was explained to me other than the fact that they use brand new tools for each tattoo. So for that, they get one star. It was only after he made the one line, ON THE WRONG FINGER, that I realized that I definitely made a mistake in coming here. I don’t know if he was high from the smoke shop next door or what. This place should be shut down.
To make matters worse, this place is outrageously expensive. I’ve been told by several different people that a simple finger tattoo should cost no more than $ 50. This place charged $ 60 and a $ 20 one time touch up, plus a $ 3 credit card surcharge. So $ 83 for a simple letter on my ring finger. Joe, the artist, didn’t even offer a refund or to pay for my removal. So not only was I severely over charged, but now have an extra cost of getting the mistake laser removed.
Lousy customer service, especially for first timers. My advice is take a friend who knows what to expect or know a friend in the business. Wish I read the reviews of this place beforehand, so hopefully someone reads this before going here. If you do, you’ll be left with a hole in your wallet and your finger.

I thought my tattoo would turn out amazing no matter whom did it or what the price was. All i wanted was 2 circles around my finger and 3 dots (very simple). Showed a very specific picture, MAN, was i fooled by these guys. 1. they are not welcoming, it is almost like they didn’t want us there, my friend also got a tattoo and our girlfriend was with to make an appointment for the following week, to her they were a bit nicer, but to me and my gay friend not so nice, so customer service is zero stars. 2. after the quick look at the picture it was priced $ 60, no problem i would pay 600(this is my body, it will stay till I laser it away). but for the work my artist did, it was worth 0 dollars. 3. after the pricing both our artist disappeared, we waited for some time, saw them smoking cigs outside. talking etc. 4. Finally the artist are ready, about 48 mins had past since he give me the price. 5. my FINGER LOOK (ED) A MESS, like a kid drew with a sharpie on my finger. it was HORRIBLE!!! I will post the pictures to see. Luckily I found the most amazing artist on westhimer whom was able to fix it, and he did all 10 fingers for $ 250! and wow does it look amazing. 6. my friend who was just getting 2 circles on his finger, well his artist messed up, and then had to make a dot between the to circles, how hard is it to draw a line? ONE LINE???
i gave them one star, because as we were getting our tattoos and after we were done they were cool people, just NEVER EVER GOING THERE AGAIN!

I just got my coverup done for $ 400. It was a walk-​in and I loved the entire experience! My artist bummed me cigarettes, another one told me fantasy stories, and Pandora played the whole time. I had a great time I usually never review places, even my favorites. This place deserves a full five stars though. They even have numbing spray!

Walk ins ok. Do not park in the church parking lot you will be towed. Ram has over 13 years experience tattooing.

Went here last night, determined to get the work I want started done. Being a busy Friday night I called a bunch of random shops off of Westheimer to schedule earlier on in the day but no luck, all booked. A split decision told me to walk in here, following my gut I did as such.
Shop is pretty small. I knew exactly what I wanted and just needed to find the right font. After choosing a font that reminded me of vintage foreign films, the artist sketched up the piece (Mark, I think his name was… it was such a long night). It was so much bigger than I expected for the amount of money I had set out to spend. Color me impressed. He really took his time with it, doing a simple line outline and then filling in thicker areas on the second go around. Its been a while since I’ve been tattooed and forgot I’m not as big of baby as my mind tells me I am. Worst part was when we got to the sternum. Ouch :(
I had brought a friend with me for moral support and to wipe my tears if they just so happened to fall but happily didn’t need it. In fact, I had to suppress a lot of laughter not to screw up the tattoo. Some other friends stopped by as well to see how I was beasting through it. I have some funny friends. We also had a good time talking with all the artists. It was a little awkward because I was a touch exposed but the staff really made me feel comfortable. My artist and I got pretty close at a point because he was trying to concentrate and I asked if he was going to bring me coffee in the morning. zzzing.
Decided to get a few piercings while I was there and up for it. Couldn’t beat the price either, gave me a hell of a deal for both tattoo and piercing. Everything took about 2 ½ hours from start to finish. It all looked so good. I couldn’t be happier for a spur of the moment decision, no research on the shop and kind of just meandering into a random place while I was in montrose. Better yet the piercings that I was the most worried about didn’t hurt at all and so far there is no sign of any complications with healing. Tattoo came out incredibly even for the location and the fact that there was no symmetry in the letters, so there was a lot of add ons and suggestions that the artist did that made me very happy.
Downsides: Small, no private rooms (everyone could see me through the window) and they don’t take debit cards.
Solid 3 ½ stars, extra ½ for being really accommodating.
They did a good job with the script but it would make me nervous to go back for the bigger color pieces without knowing someone who has gotten one from them before. Cause’ I’m a chicken.
