I grew up and attended school in Lafayette, Louisiana. After obtaining High Honors at the University of Louisiana, I began my medical education at the LSU — School of Medicine in New Orleans. During my time at LSU, I was drawn to the art of Surgery. I then completed five years of training in General Surgery at Charity Hospital and its affiliates throughout the state of Louisiana.

I received my Board Certification in Surgery, attaining the top 2% score among surgeons in the nation. I then completed my specialty training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Houston. There, I trained under the top professors in the field at St. Joseph, The Methodist, and Memorial Hermann hospitals. My training concentrated on Cosmetic Surgery, Breast Reconstruction and Post-​Bariatric Body Contouring. I also obtained my Board Certification in Plastic Surgery.
