I LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE this food truck!!! Theresa Perkins, the owner, is wonderful! The fried corn is the best EVER and you will not get a better piece of fried fish, period. The service is good and the food is always made to order and fresh! The burgers are like flavortown and yummy had a baby and called it a burger! I will eat here every time I see the red truck! A must try!

Tried out Purfekcatch at Stereo Live’s Food Truck Festival and I must say I was not impressed. They were blasting music so loud that you had to scream to put your order in. I know cooking all day in a hot truck must get boring but let’s turn down the music a bit so we can provide some good customer service. I went with the crawfish mac & cheese which I was really excited about. Comes with all of the above plus bacon and green onions… how could you go wrong?
Unfortunately, the cheese sauce was like a sauce… kind of like I made some easy mac at home. Crawfish was fine but mac and cheese soup did not deliver. Maybe the other options like fried catfish might be better who knows.

Tried this truck today at My Food Truck Park’s music Fest.
We got the brisket egg roll $ 5 and the cheddar brisket burger on a pretzel bun. If we’d only got the burger, I’d be writing a 5* review right now.
Let me clarify, the burger was a party in my mouth. Epic burger, cheese, tomato, lettuce, bacon, sauce and a DELICIOUS pretzel bun. My hubby and I shared but we fought over the amazing fries and the bigger half (there’s ALWAYS a bigger half!)
Now for the disappointment. When I pay $ 5 for ONE egg roll, it better be the best freakin’ egg roll on the planet. True enough, it was the size of my fist, the wrapper was crunchy and well cooked, but the filling was TERRIBLE! There was ONE bite of brisket in the whole thing, it was packed with sweetcorn (I detest sweet corn) and other veggies.
I was SO excited by this menu item, brisket egg roll? Heck yes! I imagined lots of meat, molten cheese and a little veg, but it was more like a vegetarian sweet corn egg roll.
Poop!
Next time I’ll stick with the shamazing burger and get my egg rolls from «Quite a stir» at 3 for $ 5!

Theresa Perkins, the owner, was wonderful to work with! I asked her to come and be the food truck for a special Project Row Houses (PRH) event: Eldorado Ballroom Dedication & Third Ward Community Market on Sat. May 3^rd at Dupree Park. Everyone enjoyed her food offerings, especially her fried corn on the cobb, and she was so great she even gave PRH a donation!
I would definitely invite Pur-​Fek-​Cat-​Ch again back to PRH as our Food Truck! Love their food and their commitment to supporting the community!

Really great food. esp the chicken and sausage gumbo as well as the fried catfish!
