We had the pleasure of working with Mary Fox at Prudential Anderson Properties during our relocation. Our perceived needs were different than most moving to Houston. One of us worked outside of the home, the other from it. We wanted something close to what we had in our old location — a highly walkable urban neighborhood with stores and restaurants near by. Our own research determined a few areas that would meet our needs and downtown seemed our best bet. Other realtors attempted to talk us out of our main area of interest and in some cases pushed the «more house for our money» properties in the outer loop.
Mary Fox listened to our concerns, did her own research, and showed us properties that most closely matched our needs. When it came time to negotiate, she worked to get us the best deal. When the inspections and assessment reports came in, she walked us through them and, in the one case, helped us realize that the property was not going to work for us long term. We absolutely love the home she helped us find and would highly recommend her to anyone needing a realtor in Houston.

I met with Rebekah Mayfield today on a property in the heights. She was so unprofessional and rude. She talked down to me and just laughed off the fact that when she showed me the utility room for my washer and dryer, a HUGE RAT came running across the pipes. She told me no pets but when I got to the property, a new tenant was walking his dog. She refused to talk to the landlord to negotiate pets and price because she said «I would only do so for serious buyers.» They are asking $ 1850.00 for an APARTMENT that they have listed as a town home. I had $ 1200.00 in cash in my pocket to put as a down payment. I refused this property for several reasons. 1) Rebekah Mayfield is an arrogant snob who tries to steal people’s money by selling them less than par properties. 2) You can’t put toilet paper in the toilet because it has really old pipes that haven’t been updated. 3) This property is not a find, it’s been vacant for 3+ months because of the above mentioned things. When questioning Rebekah about the vacancy, she said it took 2 months to remodel? My friend said all they did was add carpet and exchange a shower and a toilet. My friend said «the property is pretty, but trust me, you don’t want to deal with this headache.
