Description

Specialties

If you are a homesick Yankee and haven’t found PaPa Mo’s Deli yet, you are missing out. An authentic Ruben, Philly Cheese Steak, or Chicken Cutlet Parmesan sandwich are just three of the specialties we offer daily. When you add a home made side of coleslaw, potato salad or macaroni salad it turns these sandwiches into a typical meal you’d find in New York.

Whether you are interested in lunch or dinner, our hot specials served daily from our steam table, makes it fast and easy for anyone to walk in and have a homemade meal in just a few minutes.

History

Established in 2012.

PaPaMo’s deli was opened in September of 2012. It is a mom & pop family owned deli specializing in New York style cuisine. We are serving the same home made style sandwiches, salads and hot meals as we did for 12 years in our New York Deli.

Our original reason for moving from New York to Houston is to be close to our son and his family. However, it did not take long to for us to fall in love with the weather and the beautiful open spaced area of Houston. So, we decided to open a place here and offer to Houston an affordable place to eat at and experience authentic New York food.

Business Owner

Ramo K. is the owner and head chef of PaPaMo’s deli. He grew up on a farm in Eastern Europe, where he learned all about growing vegetables, spices and fruits. His love for cooking has had him preparing meals for family and friends since childhood. His food career started in Europe, 30 years ago where he was hired to manage the student cafeteria at Izmir University, in Izmir, Turkey.

The opportunity to move to New York came in the late 1980’s. After a few years of cooking for others he and his wife Joan, a native New Yorker decided to open a deli in Westbury Long Island, NY. For over 12 years they worked together serving and satisfying many New Yorkers everyday at Main Street Deli. When family moved to Houston Mo decided to follow and bring his talent and skills here.
