I stopped by here today to have my rear brakes and my rotors replaced. I had a quote from a Goodyear shop that I tried to have them match the price but they said they couldn’t do it because the rotors they quoted me were «cheap». So I went ahead and payed the additional $ 150 to just get the work done. After they were done I picked up my car and on the way home noticed it was still shaking so I gave them a call and josh said we agreed on only replacing the back rotors and that the front rotors would be an additional $ 400 to replace after I just spent $ 520. Very disappointed with there work after I thought I was going to have my car fixed but now I still have to get them replaced. I wouldn’t recommend having any service done to your car here they are way over priced and didn’t understand what I needed to get done on my car.

This past week I noticed that my tire pressure was going down quickly. I pulled into this location of NTB before they even opened, because I was concerned that I would get someone where and have to actually change a flat tire. I was the only one in the parking lot, except for an 18-​wheeler getting ready to unload their inventory. On of the employees (Edward) pulled in and parked — obviously waiting for his manager to get there and open the store. He saw me waiting and told me that they didn’t open until 8am. I told him my issue and he said that he would take care of my tire as soon as the store opened. He asked for my business card and the key — allowing me to get to work on-​time. This is a great example of an employee going out of his way to make sure a customer was happy — that you Edward.
Around 8:05 I received a call from another employee and told me that everything was handled and I could pick up my Jeep anytime.
I was very impressed by their service at this location. Great job folks!

They are all about the money! I used to come in here for oil changes etc. Never again! I had a nail in my tire I was showing him and he told me I needed a whole new tire. Then said it would be a 2 hour wait. See ya! Drove down the road got my tire patched and it took 35 min. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else.

These guys are scam artists. Don’t let the professional demeanor of Alex and Joshua throw you off. Went to pick up my car this morning and my repair bill was $ 220 more than what was communicated to me. Shame on me for not getting a printout of the estimate. I was in a rush.
They will not be getting my business in the future. I was a loyal customer up until this point.

Their techs really know what they’re doing! Great service aside from trying to be turned away by the front desk suggesting a simple fill up on air, I insisted they look at it. Their tech didn’t find a leak in the first try but I told him how low my pressure was. Without further questions he looked inside and found the tiny nail demon causing me all my troubles!

I needed an oil change. This place is very close to work, so I dropped it off in the morning and was planning to pick it up at lunch.
My contact was Josh. He called me about an hour after I dropped the car off to tell me that it looked like the oil plug had been stripped. If it was, he’d have to replace it. He also said that he couldn’t tell without taking the plug out if the oil pan had been stripped as well. He needed my permission to go ahead. I gave it.
Josh called me back to say that the pan was stripped by the last place to change my oil. It would have to be replaced. I gave the go ahead (what could I do?).
Josh called me a couple of hours later to give me an update. They’d ordered the part, but the wrong one was delivered. They’d ordered the right part and it should be in soon. He then called me about an hour later to tell me that the correct part was there and they would begin work.
Josh also made sure that I got the old oil pan so that I can attempt to collect from the last place to change my oil.
It’s never a good day when you go in for an oil change and come out $ 700 poorer. But the customer service I received from Josh was top notch, and it made the whole process a little less painful.

Had a flat in the area and they were the closest location that popped up on my Unilocal app. Pulled in at about 6:45, pulled out right before they closed for the evening at 8. The price was moderate seeing it was last min. The guys were cool & of course made recommendations to other repairs but I declined. Though I normally prefer private service like mom & pop shops they were decent for a franchise so…

Worst service ever! My tire had a leak but was still driveable so I asked them to look at. After assessing the damage they determined it could not be repaired, and oh by the way now that we broke the seal your tire while trying to fix it, you can’t even use it now. A phone call to alert us that further attempting to repair it might damage the tire beyond further use BEFORE attempting to fix it would have been nice, but that didn’t happen. Now I’m forced to get 2 new tires on a very old car — which I was specifically trying to avoid in the first place. Terrible Business Practices– never go here thinking they will help without inadvertently forcing you to buy new tires! I will be taking my business elsewhere for the new tires.

Came here to get some tire work done and they took forever. After I received my car there were scratches all over my wheels. My wheels are Volks racing brand and cost $ 2,400! They took no responsibility and blame it on me! Made a complaint and all they did was say sorry. Don’t take your car here unless you want it back all damaged up. Fire everyone and get a new crew!

They LOST my cousin’s car and are providing zero recourse or taking on zero accountability. This is RIDICULOUS. Not only will I never visit this NTB, but I will also never visit another NTB location.

Go to ntb if you want your property and/​or car stolen. My cousins car was stolen from the parking lot while it was being serviced. Ntb didn’t want to have any part or be held responsible for the theft. Also the building doesn’t have a security system…

This place is criminal. One time I had them work on my timing belt. They screwed it up and j had to take it to a real mechanic. So I only went for o changes and tire rotations. Not only do they promise lifetime tire rotation which they do not do, when I caught them and proved it, the manager said the tires were rotated twice which is why the marked tire was on the same wheel. They refused to rotate my tires again despite that I had purchased life time rotation. They are liars, cheats and frauds.

Honesty goes a long way. Not to mention the speediness in assisting me to move along my day. Awesome service!

I rolled into this location at 2 pm on a Friday for an oil change, 1 car in the parking lot and a full garage (maybe 5 cars). All the cars in the garage had their wheels off so I figured at least a few were near complete. I was told my car would go in at 3 pm and I’d be gone by 4. 2 hours for an oil change sucks, but I dealt with it. By 330 my truck hadn’t moved from the front parking lot. When I asked what was going on they said they were backed up and I’d be gone by 430.
Hey, no problem.
Guess what happens by 430? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. I asked to speak to the manager, who must have awesome hours because he had gone home before 4pm on a Friday. Pretty sweet since I missed half a day at work to sit in their break room and try endlessly to connect to their WiFi, which is about as effective as getting a cat into a bathtub.
Workers could care less, manager is gone. What’s the point? Don’t waste your time here, go visit a local mechanic.

I have found my new car shop and was really appreciative of the gentlemen who helped me get my car back up and running to it’s best!
I drove up with no appointment on a Saturday and walked right in to be greeted by what seemed to be a manager/​assistant manager. I explained to him my situation and he came right out to look at my car.
He said they are pretty busy at the time and that he will ask his mechanic if they could fit me in for what I was asking for to be replaced and looked at on my vehicle.
He came back and said no problem! I was to drive my car to the end to one of the car bays and one of the guys/​mechanics was going to fix it.
It goes up on the lift and he is efficient and thorough on what I requested.
I did not wait long and was back on the road in no time.
I will come back to this shop due to the fact that they went above and beyond for me and helped me out for something they didn’t need to do immediately.
One thing to mention, I know a thing or two about cars because of my father being a master mechanic and tool specialist, and I’m VERY particular about my vehicle.
I know what I want and how I want my vehicle to be taken care of. More than the average person! Trust me, I watch and pay attention to certain things in a car shop and I trust these guys to work on my car.
I will continue to service my car here based on the skill set I’ve seen demonstrated.

Made an appointment online to get an oil change at 4:30. I arrived on time to still wait over an hour for my car to get worked on. I’m sorry but what is the point of making an appointment on line?!

They realized their fault and the fee for my oil change was waived. Guess I will be returning here after all.

If I could give this place negative 5 stars, I would. This is the closest tire shop to my residence. I used to go here, but the service was soooo poor I switched to Discount Tire instead.
I had a moment of need, so I decided to give them a try again. I hit a pothole on my way home, and unfortunately now I have a bubble on the side of my front passenger tire. They close at 8 PM. I arrived at the location at 6:40 PM. I stood in line alone, and the only female worker in the front, proceeded to answer the phone 3 times in a row, instead of helping me, the customer in front of her, and 2 of the 3 calls were obviously from her other coworkers for NTB.
Finally 7 minutes later, still waiting alone, a male coworker walked up from the back to me at 6:47 PM. He asked me what I needed. I told him that I needed to replace my tire. He immediately said, «do you need it this evening? Can you leave your vehicle?» I stated, «No, my tire has a bubble on the sidewall, and this is the only car I have.» He replied, «I’m sorry, but I cannot get to you tonight as I have a few people in front of you, and we close in an hour and ten minutes. If you could leave it, I can get to you the first thing in the morning.» At that point, I told him, «No, thanks. I’ll take it somewhere else.» He just looked at me as I left, no attempt to help or apologize. This is the standard type of help you can expect here. Yes, I know if I had come in 30 minutes or less before closing, but when I arrive more than an hour and fifteen minutes before that time, and sit and wait for 7 minutes before I even get spoken to, followed by having no sympathy or attempt to help, you do not deserve one penny of my money. It just reinforced my opinion of this place. I will never waste my time going there ever again.

Don’t take your car to Ntb — National Tire & Battery. That was the worst experience I had in Houston You will pay more in labor than in parts. Unprofessional and rude workers. Don’t ever go there. Very disappointed

I came in just after opening today to get my tire patched. I ended up waiting two hours in store. I realize these places get busy on the weekend, but that seems like a long time for what I was asking.
Nobody called me. I noticed my tire, fully inflated, leaning against the glass as I wandered around and asked if it was done. It was. No telling how long it was there.
After I pointed that out the technician simply rolled the tire over to me. When I asked if they were going to put in on in place of my «doughnut» I was returned a bewildered look and asked who I spoke to. Does it matter? My car is on a temp tire, obviously it needs to be replaced. What would take me 10 minutes you could do in 1 or less. Definitely not coming back.
