Love this mall and a shoe store there. Shoes are real nice and affordable. I always shop for sandals here and get many compliments on them. Also, not many stores so not much people.

Deader than a door nail. Some investor needs to do something with this piece of land.

This mall has really gone downhill in the last couple years. Chick-fil-A is even gone. Only thing really worthy of going to in this mall is the antique Center of Texas.

this mall has few shops is pretty empty compare to others but all the shops have lots of bargains. I just wish there was more live. If they improve they might survive.

I know this is not much of a mall but for a day of needing cheap clothes for a lady this was the right place to be. Not high-end by FAR! but I know where to go when I want $ 20 n below shoes/sandals and a whole outfit from the neck down $ 35 is possible there. And they have the carnival outside so I may be going back soon.

This mall is quite sad. Most of the department stores have closed down, and the biggest anchor store is the antique shop, which is actually quite cool. Lots of unique items, I was trying to kill time by walking the mall, so I did a lot of browsing, but once I get my new home I could see myself coming back and purchasing some items from this giant warehouse. As far as the rest of the mall goes, the food court is extremely sad, it’s all off brand restaurants besides chick fil a, even the clothing stores are like off brand forever 21s and stuff. The only stores that looked up to date were the shoe stores, it reminded me of a more sad version of sharpstown and westwood mall.

Another mall that is on it’s last leg. This mall is a tad bit above Greenspoint mall but unless somebody pumps a little money in here and the major department chain comes back I don’t see this place lasting any longer than 15 years. Parking is scary here because you can just imagine as soon as you go in as quick as somebody will«gank» your car. Small food court, boo! Greenspoint monsters this one.

I received an email from the general manager of the mall, and wanted to share a few comments from her email. She states that they recently painted the entire building and entrances and are in the process of installing new signage and painting and striping the parking lot. They are hopeful this will tell their current and future customers that Northwest Mall is here to stay by doing cosmetic work on the exterior. Apparently Macy’s is still planning on reopening their store at the mall(which closed after damage from Hurricane Ike) and that they too are waiting on the Highway Department to see what the expansion will do to affect their store and surrounding parking area. Again, they affirm that until they know what the Highway Department is doing with the expansion of Hempstead Highway and the connection between 290 and I-10, they’re at least trying to make the mall look as good as they can.

This mall no longer has any major anchor stores and only the small anchor Palais Royal is in business. I don’t expect this mall to last much longer.

I used to work at the Northwest Mall, and I have a fondness for it. It’s a dumpy little mall, but don’t let that drive you away. Dumpy translates to — everything is much more affordable, and you can find some srs diamonds in the rough. For example, I had to go to a charity ball, and I managed to get totally decked out, from head to to, for über cheap. And all the rich folks at the ball showered me in compliments on my outfit. $ 2 earring/necklace set — everyone LOVED it! They have a ridiculously inexpensive shoe store, and a lot of places to find cute, extremely cheap Junior women’s clothes(that’s why I liked it so much). There’s a Waldenbooks, and a Y’all’s Texas store — great for gifts. There are some kiosks with comically large belt buckles, which, I think, make great«authentic Texas» gag gifts. Though, I’m sure most people buy them for srs. Compared to the Galleria, I love this place! Parking is easy, and traffic is never a nightmare. I actually think the food court there is heinous, not a healthy thing to be found. And I automatically like a place less if I have to so much as look at a Sbarro’s. *Gross*

Slightly below average mall, but still better than Northline or Greenspoint. Go here if you dont wanna drive as far as the Galleria or Memorial city. Pretty average roster of stores, not too bad, its usually really empty so parking is never a problem. Food court is pretty good.
