Hands down best alteration shop in town. I’m a big guy and it’s hard get clothes to fit right. Before I would get clothes altered and still wouldn’t come out right. Then i found Nichols alterations they are very detailed in their work and make sure everything leaving the shop meet your satisfaction. The owners makes you feel like you are family. I always recommend this place to anyone needing alterations. My fiancé cousin was getting married and needed some alterations on her dress and they did an amazing job. The dress came out beautiful. If you need work done, don’t think twice just head over and they will take care of you even if it’s an emergency. Good prices and they do everything there from a basic jean alterations to custom suits. #1 spot for alterations.

I went from hating the wedding dress I had purchased to completely falling in love with my dress thanks to Nichol’s Alterations! I was told by other places to be careful with changing the dress bc of the material but everything came out beautiful! I came in explaining exactly what I wanted my dress to look like. The only thing they were to change was the lace jacket. They used the same material from the original jacket and I brought new material that they could use to alter it. They took measurements and I came back only once to see the final product or if they needed to change anything. The lace jacket that they altered made my wedding dress into a completely different one! I was shocked to see the difference! It was done timely and their work was outstanding! Very detailed!

This place was recommended by a friend and I definitely do not regret taking their advice. The owners were really nice, dressed very well and were very quick to alter my bridesmaid dress. The seamstress that fitted me was super sweet. I was being a procrastinator and waited till the last minute to have my dress altered but they had it ready in no time. I highly recommend coming here. Service was great, pricing was not bad at all compared to some places that I know would’ve done a crappy job for a higher price, and it was all done in a timely manner.
And as a side note when I was there I happened to walk in when a customer came to pick up his Gucci suits (yeah more than one) sooo needless to say my doubts of this place were quickly put to rest.

Went here to get a bridesmaid’s dress altered for a wedding and not only did they charge me $ 175, but they altered it entirely too small. It took two people to zip it onto my size 2 frame, and she made me take my bra off to get it on at all (the exact one I wore when I was measured). Now I cannot wear one to the wedding (which I am not comfortable with) and I still can barely breathe. Awful experience.

Nichols alterations has completely remodeled and changed its atmosphere since their new owner Mr. Salvador has purchased the location. with a new friendly staff and great services. I read one of the comments on here and would like to let every one know they accept any form of payment and does not require a certain amount.

Nichol’s is an amazing alteration service. Everything I have had done there has been done properly. You can get it at other places cheaper, but I’ve never had any luck getting it done right anywhere else.
Also, their custom dressmaking is impressive. My sister-in-law’s wedding dress was reasonably priced, done on time, and one of a kind.

This review is for the alteration store on the 3rd floor of the Galleria Mall.
I was so turned off by their policy of not accepting credit card transactions/​alterations under $ 50.
I had my jeans altered with an original hem and was not satisfied at all. I’ve had my jeans altered elsewhere with much better results. I will take my business elsewhere…
