I should have known something was wrong when I called at 10 am and they had appointments all day. I arrived and there was only one other patient there. The doctor was extremely rude and acted immediately like I was drug-​seeking. I pulled my medications out of my bag and had them on the counter. He picked up one bottle of pain meds (my PCP had given me until I could get in to the specialists) and he said I am not giving you pain meds when you are already getting them somewhere else! I said my doctor prescribed them to me while I waited for my referral to you. He then told me he had no idea who my PCP was and had never heard of her before. She is an Internist and a well renowned doctor. Anyway, I had my ENTIRE file with me and handed it to him. (The latest nerve study and MRI and EMG were 10 months old but showed a torn disk, a bulging disk AND nerve damage. After viewing the results, at MY request, he again stated that he was not going to give me any pain meds but that he would do a small surgical procedure ASAP… 2 days!!! He never did an X-​Ray, he didn’t review films, Etc just read the office notes that were 10 months old!!! I called my PCP before I got to my car and made an appointment for tomorrow, I am hoping she will NEVER send anyone back to him.
