History
Established in 1992.
First, was Myung Dong Noodle House, in what was the original Korea Town in Houston. Their specialty was Korean Kal-guc-su, a homemade noodle with anchovy broth, hence the name. Purchased by current owners in 1992 and renamed Myung Dong Korean Restaurant. Only one chef («ma») in the back cooking & «Pa» in the front taking orders. Only «ma» and «pa» and couple of workers so expect delays on the weekends and busy days. All orders are made to order. Some dishes, such as chicken & potato, takes a while to prepare (at least 30 minutes). Only cash and check (with proper I.D.). BYOB.
