Myers Handyman Service

I hired this handyman service to put wood trim up in a bedroom in my house. I had an appointment for 8AM and he did not show up until 10AM. There were two men that came to my house and neither took their shoes off — (I was having my carpet cleaned at the same time — had they come on time, they would not have overlapped) — they also took many personal phone calls during their time at my house and were very loud. The most offensive issue, for me, was that they kept telling the carpet cleaner and I that they would be done in 30 minutes. They were not. I had to call them after they left to tell them that they mis-​cut one piece of trim that clearly did not fit together on the wall, forgot to set the nails into the trim, and did not putty over the nails. I had to do all of this work myself. He quoted $ 200 and when i paid him i asked him to consider that he was late and that the work was done poorly, he did not give a discount. When i called him after he left, he was clearly displeased with my criticism of his work and hung up on me. I would not hire him again.
