The founders of My Indoor Cycle are excited to bring a new indoor cycling experience to fitness enthusiasts. My Indoor Cycle provides an indoor cycling experience without all the hurdles. Our convenient online reservation and registration system ensures that your time is well spent working out and having fun as opposed to waiting in line or rushing and hoping there will be a bike available for you. Our state of the art Lemond Revmaster Pro cycling bikes are quiet, smooth, and well maintained to ensure a positive experience. With the best indoor cycling coaches around, you are sure to get a fun and challenging workout.

History

Established in 2012.

During a trip to get away from the daily grind Fernando Lopez and Albaro Barrios, co-​founders of My Indoor Cycle, found themselves discussing the types of complaints that they continuously hear related to attending indoor cycling classes. After a few short notes on a napkin the idea of a dedicated indoor cycling studio was conceived. Establishing a partnership and using their previous and current experiences, Fernando and Al are proud to present My Indoor Cycle to the Upper Kirby area in Houston, TX.

Fernando brings a wealth of fitness related knowledge to My Indoor Cycle. As a personal trainer and running coach for over 13 years Fernando has helped hundreds of individuals achieve their personal fitness goals. Fernando is a graduate of the University of Houston with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology as well as an ACE certified trainer. Fernando enjoys weight training, running marathons, and spending time with his pets and family.

I’m doing the first week for $ 20 class and I love it. So far I’ve only as Fernando as an instructor but he is so fun and I feel like I can push myself and go HARD! Always leave class feeling great and dripping sweat :)

I was hooked to spinning after my first class! I only wish I had tried it sooner. There’s no contract, you just pay for however many classes you want to take and you can sign up for classes online or using the Mind Body Connect App. I paid $ 20 for one week of unlimited classes as a new client and was able to try 3 or 4 different instructors during that week — it’s a great deal if spin class is something you’re thinking about. Now I’ve been in classes taught by each instructor and they all are amazing but Erik is my absolute favorite! I finish his class and get great work out and feel inspired to have my best day ever.

I’ve been a client here for almost two years, and I still leave so very challenged and dripping with sweat. I heart this place so much I go to classes 4 – 5 times a week. Join a class and get addicted!

This place actually makes me like to exercise. Who knew that was possible?! The instructors are great at what they do and super friendly! Fernando (one of the co-​owners) will even make the effort to learn your name the first time you come to class, and he’ll actually remember it (which means he either has an excellent memory or truly cares about getting to know every client. I expect it’s both). Compared to other spin studios, this place is more affordable too! Yes, it may still be more expensive than going to spin classes at some big gym (which I’ve done before). but the quality of instruction you’re going to get and the intimate environment both make it well worth the price. These classes kick my butt every time, and I always walk out feeling accomplished and rejuvenated! Your first class is free, so why not check it out and see if you agree?
P. S. I’ve been a Unilocal review reader for years but haven’t written a review until now, so let that be a testament to how awesome this place is. Just sayin!

I love My Indoor Cycle!!! They have the best spinning bikes that I have ever used. The studio is always clean. The sound system is awesome. They have the best instructors. The instructors make sure you are challenging yourself but not over doing it. It is a great place for your first time or if you are an experience rider. Check it out!!!

In my opinion Will is the BEST instructor, so much motivation and positive energy.
I enjoy the classes immensely, Highly recommend!!!
they always have clean towels and water, even ear plugs if you dont like the music too loud., the tracks you cycle to are great. This is a hidden Gem!

I am so excited about this place! I visited for the first time yesterday and it was great.
The studio is very well air conditioned, the bikes are spaced apart perfectly., the lighting is low and the music is great. They have towels and water and the mirror at the front of the studio is very helpful.
I just wish the unlimited classes were not so expensive. I burned 671 calories my first class, it was a 45 min class!!! If you have a heart rate monitor, bring it to track calories burned and target hr. It helps motivate you!

This cycling studio is great! The instructors are awesome and super helpful. They are all very up beat and push you. If you’ve never tried spin then this is a great place. The machines are always very well maintained and the classes are fun and keep you pumped up. I highly recommend my indoor cycle!

Yeah!, a spinning studio where I have no contracts. It’s a little out of my way but I love the chance to go to Montrose any chance I get so I don’t mind. Great workout I will be back whenever I am in Houston on business again.

When my friends suggested I join them for spinning at 5:30 am I was skeptical and convinced they were crazy. I must confess after dragging myself out of bed and going to My Indoor Cycle I felt so energized I couldnt wait to do it again. Kyle is an amazing instructor, he keeps you pumped and challenges you for the entire time. I love that the studio provides towels and bottled water because the last thing I want to think about at 5am is passing out from dehydration!!! love it.
