My Catering Company

I use My Catering Company about 6 times a year for corporate catering needs. Great customer service and excellent food.
I know the review below said they paid $ 5k for a wedding but how many people did that $ 5k feed? My wedding food was about $ 65/​head (150 people).

Went to their tasting which showcased a beautifully delicious spread and presentation of dinner options. We opted for the full chicken breast florentine, wild rice pilaf with orzo pasta, grilled veggies, salad, and a roast beef carving station.
Day of the event was horrible. The full chicken breast was sliced up and each guest only got 3 tiny pieces (NOT equivalent to a full breast, as expected), rice was that nasty plain and mushy stuff you get from the supermarket with nothing extra in it, veggies were soggy, and they provided those ugly dinner rolls from the school cafeteria. Why would you show me a tiered shelf presentation of gourmet bread options at the tasting and bring this crap?! I would expect some kind of notification if you are going to change my dinner choices! Unpleasant surprise. Only decent thing was the salad, but that’s hard to mess up. Beef was meh.
On top of that, they closed down the buffet after one serving when they had promised to stay open for at least 2 hours after dinner commenced for seconds. Our guests left hungry and went out for their own dinner. How embarrassing and disappointing!!!
Additionally, during cocktail hour, they served the same people hors d’oeuvres as they made their rounds so the majority of the guests got nothing!
Ughhhhh, they were the worst part of my wedding and I regret booking with them. I guess once they get their payment, they could care less with what they do at your event. My father in law and husband confronted them about it and they refused to take responsibility and said it was OUR mistake for not confirming with them. Excuse me?!? It was on the freaken order form you dimwits!
Guests actually complained to me afterwards, asking why was the food so bad when the venue was absolutely gorgeous?!? I will not make excuses for them. Ultimately, this company just sucks that bad. Bad service, bad food, and no professionalism. They are definitely NOT up to par with the bigger and better catering companies and should stick to corporate lunch boxes as their forte.

I found this company on Google after doing a quick search. I called My Catering Company and was immediately thrown off because the man who answered the phone just said his name, I had no idea if I was calling the right place and I almost felt as though I was inconveniencing him. We were looking to have a corporate event catered for 50 – 60 people with hors d’oeuvres, Trent asked me what my budget was. I told him middle of the line but he wanted an exact price and I unfortunately did not feel comfortable giving him this information, nor do we even have a budget. He said that if he didn’t know that prices «we would just be wasting our time»… Thanks but no thanks Trent. I will send my business elsewhere.

First time to use a caterer. Was very disappointed. Showed up late to deliver the food. Most was unedible and thrown away. Spinach dip was horrible. Egg rolls were soggy. Supposed to have enough to serve 75 guests and only brought 39 chicken skewers. Roast beef slider, the bread was stale and sandwich was dry and only one small piece of beef on each sandwich. Bacon wrapped scallops were good and pot stickers were okay. All this for $ 1100.
