Monart is more than a method that teaches people how to draw. Leading educators recognize Monart as a teaching system that helps students to focus and concentrate, make decisions, solve problems, sequence and develop hand-eye coordination. In a peaceful environment students learn that drawing is a teachable subject in which anyone can be successful. Just as we are taught how to combine basic phonetic rules to read, musical notes to play an instrument, and dance steps to dance, the Monart Method teaches the individual to draw using the five basic Elements of Shape. Each week students work with our highly qualified, supportive instructors on projects designed to teach the Elements of Shape and to create a unique and fully-developed composition. History
Established in 2008.
Monart was started in Houston by the current owner, Daisy. First starting in Pearland, she set up shop in Bellaire. Although the location for the Pearland Monart has changed, Bellaire Monart has stayed in the same location since 2008 and continues to provide excellent classes and care for anyone looking to learn how to improve their artistic skills.

Business Owner
Daisy has a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree and a Diploma in Design and Fashion Arts from the National Institute of Fashion Technology, New Delhi, India. She has a keen interest and expertise in Indian classical painting method called Tanjore, as well as more contemporary crafts and scrapbook making. Her hobbies also include art restoration and sculpting. She has a strong business background as well and has been a successful owner for many years. She established Monart in 2008 and succesfully runs the program not only at the Bellaire Studio but also at many other schools as an enrichment program.
