Dr. Sinacoi is amazing! I can see why some have said that they feel rushed because she doesn’t waist time and gets to what she’s there to do when she sees you. she knows her s*** and is very assertive so if you are someone who asks questions you will love her, she will give you tons of information.

SO, just like everyone has reported– be prepared to WAIT AT LEAST 1 – 2 HOURS to see the doctor. I had a well woman exam scheduled 6 weeks in advance for 1pm. Told her staff that i need to leave by 3pm to pick up my kids from school. Was called into the office at 2.15 and waited, stripped naked until 3pm. No sign of the doctor– no word from staff on when she could see me. I left at 3 without seeing the Dr. SUPER RUDE STAFF, HORRIBLE WAIT Times is the norm. I for one, have changed my doctor to someone who respects my time.

Waited to see the doctor for over an hour. Staff is not helpful, in fact they started leaving to go home while the patients where still in the waiting room! No common courtesy, and if someone asks how much longer it will be they can’t even answer. Dr. Sinacori is always rushing you to get out, she is blunt to the point where it’s incredibly rude and it makes you feel belittled. I have been coming to her for 3 years, and the problems have only intensified. I would only use her as a last resort, and unless you want to spend a couple of hours waiting for a 5 minute appointment I would go anywhere else.

1.5 hour wait, constant cancelling and rescheduling from her office, and inflexibility (they will not let you see another available doctor in the practice, even when they’ve canceled your appointment… twice). Not worth the headache. Dr. Sinacori seems very experienced and capable, unfortunately, you don’t get enough time with her to tell if that’s really the case or not.

I have been coming to Dr Sinacori for 11 years, 2 children, both with different fertility issues, both solved within her care. She is very action oriented and I like that about her. I think with routine visits she can appear in a rush but once you go into battle w her (fertility issues and childbirth) you really see how awesome she is.
Her wait time can be long, but my guess is in our healthcare world it is the only way to make it financially doable.
Just know this, she is very very good at her trade, you are in the best hands w surgeries, fertility, etc.
Btw, just walked out from my annual well woman visit, did the first appointment of the day, 8am, sat in wait room for 10 minutes, sat in exam room 25 minutes, exam took 5 minutes, did not feel rushed at all, was done by 8:45am. 45 minutes is a competitive turn time for non VIP doctors.

So this office lost my urine sample (how do you lose a urine sample?), calls me back in three months and asks for the copay (since i had to go back and submit another urine sample)…and when I told them Sinacori said i don’t have to pay a copay AGAIN, they flat out called me a liar. The billing department spoke over me, and was extremely disrespectful. She LITERALLY said i was lying.
Not to mention, every time I’ve seen her, I would wait in the waiting room for over two hours, then at least 45 minutes more in the room without pants on.
This doctor isn’t terrible, it’s a shame her staff is bringing her down. She does work VERY quickly though — and at first i thought it was because i wasn’t pregnant, and she wanted to dedicate her time to those who were — but reading through these reviews that obviously not the case.
By the way, a physician with a two star rating? she obviously doesn’t give a shit.

The Memorial Women’s Specialists need to learn some customer service. I am a working woman and my time is important too.
I recently moved to Houston and had my first appt with Dr. Sinacori scheduled yesterday morning. After waiting an hour I inquired how much longer because I had a conference call in an hour which I though I’d left plenty of time for…2 hrs should be more than enough for a routine gyno visit. They told me I was next up to get in a room, not to see the Dr., but to get in a room which could still be another 10 – 20 minutes. I couldn’t even do work emails while I was waiting because no cell coverage on the 21^st floor. I asked to reschedule and the receptionist shared the time to come is either 8am or 1pm specifically or there is always be a wait like this. So clearly this wasn’t a one off, something came up to busy the Dr.‘s day scenario… this is just the way they run their business and believe it’s OK to make their patients (customers) wait for hours.
They have LOST a new patient (customer) in me, because although the Dr. unfortunately doesn’t have respect for my time… I believe my time is valuable and have respect for myself.

Every time I make an appointment here, I wait at least an hour for her to actually meet with me. I actually waited 2.5 hours after my appointment time once. Also, she doesn’t ever give you her time of day and doesn’t care about you either. I mean, I understand that she’s a very busy lady and has unplanned emergency surgeries to take care of, but at least pretend to care about your patients who already are probably uncomfortable being in the office to begin with. It’s kind of sad because it takes a lot for me to lose my patience… :/
I’ve come here for the past two or so years, always giving her benefit of the doubt and giving her another chance. It’s finally time for me to move on.

I started using Dr Sinacori before I was pregnant. Once I became pregnant I opted for the additional screening to test for abnormalities. The technician couldn’t find a nose bone so we did the T21 blood test. Before the T21, Dr Sinacori asked if I wanted to abort before offering options. REALLY? I changed doctors immediately and now have a perfect 6 month old daughter with no abnormalities.
The office is bad too. My appointments were mysteriously cancelled even when I showed my reminder card and was told they still couldn’t fit me in. Then my patient record was accidentally deleted. How does that happen?
Please go somewhere else!

I’m having twins and am very impressed with how thorough and available Dr. Sinacori remains. Yes, sometimes the wait is long but, we can’t predict when babies will arrive. I typically find that morning appts are best during the middle of the week. Most obgyns that I’ve been to dont get me in at the exact appt. time.

Going to the gyno should not be as stressful as this office makes it.
Dr Sinacori is always at least an hour and a half late to all of her appointments. I once waited 2.5 hours to be seen for a birth control follow up! I was sitting there waiting for an appointment that literally lasted less than 5 minutes. If the doctor was worth it then I wouldn’t mind waiting. Because Dr. Sinacori is always running late, she rushes through her appointments and doesn’t bother to thoroughly explain anything. Last year I had some abnormal looking cells and had to have a biopsy to make sure everything was okay (and thankfully it was). The doctor came in, did the biopsy and promptly headed out the door. I had to stop her to ask what it all meant, and even then still had to google what was going on. My sister also had a bad experience as she had a bad reaction to the hormonal birth control she was taking. Dr. Sinacori was very patronizing and implied that my sister didn’t know what she was talking about and would have kept my sister on the same pill had she not insisted that she switch.
To top it all off the front desk staff is horrible and so unorganized. They once called my mom with my test results instead of me, which was weird because I never gave them her number to put in my file or gave them permission to release information to her (and I’m 22 so it’s not like I’m a minor!). The best I could come up with is that she is also a patient there so they somehow called her instead of me. The breaking point for me was when my insurance didn’t cover all of my exam and I ended up owing the office $ 120. I received my bill in September and promptly paid it. Fast forward to December, I received another bill for the same exam. Weird. I called them and they claimed to not have any proof that I paid and told me I’d have to submit proof of payment. I had switched banks since then and did not have access to my statement from September so I just went ahead and repaid the bill. I was really over the office at this point and didn’t want to deal with the hassle anymore. Not even two weeks later I receive yet another email about this darn bill, this time threatening collections. I called and the billing manager was very rude and told me to fax them my bank statement showing that I had paid and that they would fix it in their system. That’s ridiculous, they had $ 120 floating around unaccounted for. I told her that they needed to look into it and figure out where my money was. I gave them the date I paid and sure enough, there was my $ 120 payment. I have never had such a poor experience with a doctor’s office before.

Pros: The office is very pretty, and the parking is free.
Cons:
Just wanted to start off and say that I am a very happy-​go-​lucky type of person. It takes a lot to «rub me the wrong way» as I’m always very optimistic and try to see the best in everybody (I have some co-​workers that tell me I’m too nice, lol!). I’ve been coming to Dr. Sinacori’s office for several years and every time I leave her office I tell myself that «this is the last time I come here!» As well, I work in an imaging clinic and we would NEVER treat our patients the way they treat theirs… It makes me sick :-(
— Almost the entire staff is extremely rude! Everyone from the receptionists, ultrasound techs, phlebotomists, to even the doctor. I don’t know what’s in the coffee but it’s seriously something crazy that everybody must be sipping on. Everyone acts as if they are in a «mean girls club» and that it pains them to provide service to you. There is such a bad energy in there…
— Every time I have gone there I’ve had to wait forever! They call you back pretty quickly, but then you wait on the doctor forever! The minimum wait time for me has been about 45 min.
— The Dr. had cancelled my appointment 2 separate times because an «emergency had come for her up in clinic» and she had to reschedule all of the rest of her appointments for the day. Oh and both times they had informed me of this once I had actually arrived to my appointment. Why couldn’t they have told me this beforehand (even if it was 30 min before my appointment time) I don’t know!!! However, being the nice person I am I didn’t make a big deal about it.
— Usually I am an early person, but I was going to be 10 minutes late for my ultrasound due to traffic (literally only 10 min!). I called them about 15 min prior to my appointment time to let them know. They told me that they couldn’t see me and I would have to reschedule! I was shocked! I explained to them that I had switched my work schedule around to make the appointment, that I was coming all the way from downtown in rush hour, that I was literally 3 blocks away, and PLEASE see me because it was extremely important that I got the ultrasound. I also reminded them that they had previously cancelled on me before (see above). But nope, they simply said they couldn’t. I’m thinking that it’s because it was Friday at 4:00 pm and they just wanted to hurry and start their weekend… or maybe because they are all evil, who knows?
–Dr. Sinacori works so quickly and is so rough. She barely gives you any time to even get a word in. You wait for almost an hour to see her and the actual appointment takes less than 5 minutes… She is so rough that after my (very painful and uncomfortable) annual exam I went home and started to bleed. My first thought was that I started my menstrual cycle. But the bleeding stopped the next night and I realized it was because she was incredibly harsh. Horrible…
— I had felt a 1 cm bump on my breast at home (which after an ultrasound turned out to be nothing, thank goodness!) I came in for an exam and the doctor was so rushed and careless she didn’t even feel it! I had to point it out to her! And then she was like «Oh yeah, I feel something…» WTH? That’s the service I get especially with my family history of breast cancer… are you kidding me?
Anyways, bottom line; GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! We live in Houston which has the biggest medical community in the world! There are so many better choices out there.

I’ve been going to the same gyno that birthed me since I was 16 so its hard to compete with that. I am new to Houston and had cyst burst, my physician recommended Dr. Sinacori and I couldn’t be happier. I’ve only seen her twice but she has been behind both times. I like that she is straight forward, gives me the facts without all the fluff but still answers all my questions.

PROS
1) Decisive
2) Works fast
3) I really like the hospital facilities and parking (free) convenience.
CONS
1) Overbooks patients (I was one of them). This affects you because you will be waiting for 45 min-​1 hour in the waiting room and then another 30 minutes in the exam room. I thought this would only be a one-​time deal… how about 5 times?
(and waiting with only a gown on).
2) Doesn’t give you room to ask questions or feel comfortable with your decisions:
a– Didn’t offer me a chance to discuss about getting induced. To her defense, my water broke. But I asked if I could wait couple of hours to see if I naturally dilate. She pressured me and put fear in me that we needed to do it right away. More than anything, it was her mannerisms about it. She was pressuring me and left the room without even waiting for me to agree.
b– After some postpartum complications, I had to visit her daily for examination of a wound for 2 weeks AFTER I just had my baby. Obviously, I had concerns, worries, questions… when I asked them, she seemed annoyed or flustered by some of my questions. Her responses were short and never did she try to explain in layman’s terms or in a manner where a patient would feel that she was TRYING to make us understand.
c– Walks halfway out the door while you are still talking. No Joke. She did this to me several times.
3) Aggressive and not gentle. Do you want an OB-​GYN that is aggressive and not gentle? Email me if you want to know exactly what I’m talking about. It’s too painful to write publicly. I did suffer postpartum as a result.
4) Bad bedside manners. I am not a litigious or a complainer. I understand the nature of a job as stressful as hers. However, I believe she could’ve handled the situation a whole lot better so that I felt less worried, less screwed over, and less angry about the situation. It was her poor communication– she cannot admit her wrongdoing and was avoidant of the fact that I was in so much pain and didn’t do anything to try to make it better. I had to beg for local anesthesia… she would examine me painfully without telling me what she was doing or how painful it would be.
I give her 2 stars only because she did actually deliver my baby… or should I say oversee the nurse and my progress? My nurse was awesome and pretty much helped me through the entire process– both emotionally and physically!
