Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt

The people there are friendly and helpful. The frozen yogurt is always tasty as ever and there are always great choices to pick from. It’s great that you can sample any flavor before you actually pick yours. The toppings and fruit are top notch. You can’t quite ask for anymore than that. Great place with tasty treats.

Great place to get some fro-​yo! Love the selections of yogurt and add-​ins. The Salted caramel and cheesecake are my favorite flavors!

I love froyo and I’ve had so many different kinds but this is my favorite of all time!
I love their rotation of flavors!
It’s also one of the few places that has whipped cream and crushed graham crackers as a topping.
If they have pumpkin froyo, get with whipped cream and graham cracker and it’s perfect!
I love that they have sample cups out and encourage trying new flavors, unlike tutti fruity

Clean and friendly service. They have a large variety to choose from. Kids enjoyed creating their own cups and price is reasonable. Staff seemed very informative about the ingredients and helpful.

Awesome. Great selection of yogurt and an even better selection of toppings. The staff did a great job with us, answering our questions and keeping up with our wit. The machine for the vanilla gave out so I went with the cheesecake. It was a bit too sweet for me and not the best combo for my toppings (a bit of Heath, a bit of peanut butter cups and a few whoppers) but it was of excellent quality. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area.

Brings back memories of our vacations in Honolulu! Love Menchies and so happy to have one so close to our new home! This one has a tropical outdoor patio to enjoy good weather.

Delicious! The flavors here were better than other places I’ve been. They have tons of toppings, waffle cones, and syrups. I’ll definitely be back!

Menchies is the BEST! Every time we walk in, the workers behind the counter greet us with smiles and a friendly attitude. The establishment is always spotless and has a fantastic atmosphere. Even with toppings it is cheaper than any ice cream or frozen yogurt place and it is by far superior in taste.

I LOVE Menchie’s (all of them). They have the best yogurt flavors and toppings. And it always seems clean. What more can I say?

This has become a pretty regular spot for me and BF. I love that they regularly cycle 2 different options of no sugar added yogurt that changes almost everytime we go. Also they have sugar free peanut butter cups and sugar free hot fudge. Whaaaat?! I like being able to feel righteous-​er-​than-​thou in my dessert choice.

5 $/​cup Monday night ! Plus they have an outdoor patio to enjoy. It’s like any other frozen yogurt place around & they have a loyalty card.

This is a good yogurt place. It’s got the usual cool assortment of flavors and the fun toppings. I have no complaints really, but it gets three stars because it’s pretty normal everyday yogurt place. There’s worse ones, there’s better ones. This place is good for getting your fill of yogurt, so check it out. You’ll be satisfied, but not wowed.

I was quite surprised to see a different layout than what the inside of the other frozen yogurt businesses typically provide. Seating is varied to cater to big or small groups or those that chose to sit outside. Now I think I’ve tried the marshmallow-​flavored frozen yogurt but I served the toasted marshmallow here and I was able to make the flavor distinction between marshmallow-​flavored frozen yogurt and toasted marshmallow-​flavored frozen yogurt, so I applaud the flavor in this froyo. I will try other flavors to find if this close flavor matching is the norm for Menchie’s

Lots of topping, pretty clean, too many goofy teens coming in and the staff doesn’t do anything about this place.
I don’t have a issue with teens enjoying some froyo but the night we stopped in they ran in giving random hugs without asking permission and was recording it. I had just given birth a month prior to the incident and was not feeling well. Just wanted some froyo with my husband and newborn. The teens ran in and was tasting every flavor of froyo there gave random people hugs while recording it and ran out. Didn’t buy anything and the staff (who are also teenagers) just laughed about the whole thing.
Will never return to the place ever again. Maybe the friendswood location but not this one.

I won a gift card to Menchie’s, so I decided to give it a try in my quest to try all the fro yo in the Greater Clear Lake area.
The place is really clean inside and reminds me of a kid’s cartoon (I know, that’s weird but that’s my best description of their logo and the interior … very kandi land like to me).
Their yogurt is good, but pretty darn sweet (almost too sweet) and they have a plethora of toppings to choose from.
Pretty cool too, I guess, because you can have birthday parties here since they have a private room. Guess if I were a kid this would be a good place to go!

Overall, Menchies is super fun for kids (and kid-​like adults), but the quality of yoghurt isn’t that high. The toppings compensate.
When the popcorn flavor isn’t there, I go for just a bowl of toppings. Frankly their flavors kind of stink mostly. I greatly prefer Pinkberry for a high quality, great tasting yoghurt.
One thing that bothers me SO MUCH is that there’s no way to recycle the spoons. I get that you take them home but after a while, my collection is large enough and that’s a LOT of wasted plastic. They can be washed, reused or recycled. Anything but wasted.
It’s ironic since they have have signs there saying «less napkins, less trees.» Let’s try less spoons, less landfills!
Still it’s at a great location, family friendly, great staff, samples encouraged, free waffle bowl… a lot is right here.

This place is sooooo cute! Asian characters, free stickers and stuff for the kids… WAFFLE CONE BOWLS!!! and DELISH froyo! I am very picky about my froyo. Most places it’s too sweet, or the tart isn’t tart enough. This place was fab! they had all sorts of cool flavors, one of which was buttered popcorn, which was surprisingly good! I can’t wait to visit my parents so I can come back here… Oh, I’ll be there on Thursday, yay!

Well, phooey! I wrote up a review on their opening day, but either I put in the wrong address or something… there are now two Unilocal pages for this location. Sorry for the confusion! ^_​^” Anyways, here was my review from the first day:
Today was their opening, and if they were happy about it, the Menchie’s team really showed it! Super nice and friendly~ and they explained their setup and encouraged us to sample as many flavors as we wanted (yay for not feeling like a pig and awkwardly stealing a ninth sample cup!).
There are tons of flavors available (I think 16 or 18) with both creamy and tart flavors, as well as sorbets. There was even a popcorn flavor o_​o it’s something you have to try yourself– my taste buds were confused on whether to jump for joy or go «mehhh.» For the health conscious, all of the flavors have calorie counts listed but it’s kind of hard to see, so look closely. The toppings are neatly organized in plastic bins, and there is also a lineup of liquid toppings, read: pourable peanut butter!
The yogurt itself is not as thick as I like it, but it satisfied: D some flavors are extremely sweet, but that’s what the purely tart flavor is there for, right? Menchie’s is a little expensive at 49 cents per ounce, but the place is super cute with friendly staff, so you’re paying for the experience too. For any future avid Menchie’s fans, this store sells a lot of Menchie’s gear such as plushies, beanies, hats, and toys based on their cute mascots. What a colorful and fun place to cool down in Clear Lake this summer– check it out!
They have a loyalty card program too– buy $ 50 worth of yogurt and get $ 5 worth of yogurt free~

This place is brand new, so hard to write a review that encompasses their full potential. But I’ll start here, then modify if necessary.
First of all, this was my first Menchie’s experience. I’m not big on sweets, but that’s okay I can still be impartial. I like the price by weight (49c per ounce) so I can get a little snack without getting stuffed.
Great selection of flavors and the toppings are what makes this place stand out. I like the small sample cups to let you try everything before you commit! I will say the levers were hard to make pour into the cup (again, I’m a rookie so forgive me).
The staff was VERY friendly, greeted me when I came in and gave me the tour (since I was new). They were also accommodating with my date, who had a birthday but didn’t have much proof (sign up for their club and get some credit on your birthday). They came by our table to ask how we were doing and cleaned our trash before we got up to leave.
There wasn’t a lot of places to sit down, the room we sat in was loud (a handful of young teens after school didn’t help). There is an outside part, but in the Houston heat, that’s a tough sell.
The location is great for being at a busy intersection, not the easiest to drive to, but I can walk from work so that’s something!
