Maurice Leibman, MD

Dr. Leibman is absolutely wonderful! A friend referred me to him. She found him after being diagnosed with an STD, had one child with him, and then had him conduct the procedure to no long have children. She talked about how kind, patient, and wonderful he was, so I decided to him him a try.
I’ve found him to be everything she said and more. He really takes his time with each patient to ensure that he answers all of your questions. I’ve always been a little shy to ask certain questions, but with Dr. Leibman, I feel completely comfortable asking Dr. Leibman ANYTHING because I know he will be non-​judgmental, completely honest, and thorough in answering my questions.
So why 3 out of 5 stars? I really don’t like his nurse. Some people find comfort in her relaxed-​style of doing things, but I find it off-​putting. I would like to see a lot more professionalism from her. She’s very gossipy, always stressed and telling me how «crazy» her day is, and often tells me to call to schedule my next appointment when it is closer to the timeframe I need it vs. scheduling it for me then. But, the one critical moment that sticks out for me is that I called to ask a really sensitive question about a sexual practice. She not only gave me incorrect information, but flat-​out told me I should never do it. I mentioned this to Dr. Leibman at my next visit and he said she wasn’t correct and that she never should have said anything like that to me. Now I don’t feel like I can believe anything she says and that makes it hard to call and get answers.

Dr Leibman is one of the last good old fashioned docs left in the big city, I think. He is not affiliated with a large practice, which alone makes him 5 notches above most, in my view. I found his staff to very competent, knowledgeable and caring, too. I felt like he was actually listening, I did not feel rushed as I do in larger practices. Dr Leibman also is abreast of and will prescribe compound hormone replacement therapy, which most mainstream gynos won’t go near. I am very sorry to read the 1 star review he got, it is difficult for me to understand how this is possible in light of my experiences with him.

I moved to Houston a little over a year ago and just happened upon Dr. Leibman and I feel extremely lucky to have found him! They always get me in as soon as possible when I make an appointment or have an issue. Dr. Leibman also takes great steps in making you feel comfortable and creating a relationship with his patients. They will also work with you if financially you are a little tight. I would out my trust in Leibman 110%.

i have been going to him since 2004. He was able to save the lives of my twins through lots of hard work. I was a challenge for him also. I would send anyone to him without question.

Dr. Leibman is the best Gyno. I have ever went to! I NEVER thought I would feel comfortable going to a male gyno., but Dr. Leibman and his nurse make you feel so comfortable and relaxed.
Dr. Leibman is a very progressive, modern thinking man and was very respectfull of my wishes. I got the Essure procedure and it went excellent! I was put at ease and told what was going on every step of the way.
Thank you Dr. Leibman and team for everything and I will be back! I just found MY doctor in Houston!

Dr. Maurice Leibman is the best gynecologist in Houston. And if you don’t believe me, just check out some of his awards. In fact, he’s been awarded the honor of being one of the best doctors in the United States.
What I like about Dr. Leibman is that he is friendly, down-​to-​earth, and takes the time to really talk to you about what’s going on inside your body. There’s no rushing to prescribe you something so he can move onto someone else. Instead he ‘ll find out about your lifestyle and in my case, looked at natural options before prescribing drugs.
Also love that his state-​of-​the-​art Town & Country clinic is equipped to perform some common procedures right in his office so you don’t have to drive around the city to get things done.
Great service and beautiful clinic.
