Super cool place, the black bean noodle plate is my favorite but everything is good and service is excellent.

Came a second time with my family and realized the overall price we paid of $ 60 for 4 of us was not worth the quality of the food here. The prices are steep and food is not restaurant quality as I thought when I first visited. I’m not sure how long this restaurant will continue to stay open especially since we rarely see any other patrons there besides us.

Small, casual noodle house. About 20 items on the menu with pictures, mainly noodles but some rice dishes as well. Prices range around $ 10 – 15. The lady recommended the first item which was a combination of 2 types of noodle soups. There is a picture for every entrée which was extremely helpful. Large portion sizes! My friend and I each got a noodle soup then shared the spicy rice cake dish and it was too much food. They do accept credit cards and the lady who served us was very nice and attentive.

I have a different expectation for jajangmyun but the jjambong was really good. The place is very clean and the lady who was helping us get our food was really nice. Even my friend who is sooo picky with food gave this place a 5 star. ps. when you go here be ready to eat because the servings are huge!

I was shocked to see the price of their tangsooyuk(sweet and sour fried pork) had risen from $ 12.99 to $ 15.99 since my first time dining here almost a year ago. The portion size is large though so you do get your moneys worth. The half champong and half chachang(seafood and black bean paste noodles) is another great dish. The seafood noodle is flavourful with perfect amount of spice. I wouldn’t mind ordering the full dish itself to finish. Not my favorite Korean restaurant here in Houston, but it is decent. Would like to come back to try some other dishes.

On the outside Manna Noodle House looks a bit suspicious. But the interior looks fresh, homey, & quaint. The walls are painted with nice bright colours & the restaurant is decorated with many indoor house plants. The place definitely makes you feel at home. The waitress speaks a limited amount of English so to those that do not speak Korean it is easier to point at the numbers on the menu. Some items on the menu are a bit pricey, since the menu prices have gone up. 15.99 for tangsooyuk, if you’re going to order noodles I’d definitely skip out on tangsooyuk because the portions are huge, unless you & your friends are very hungry or you’re just really craving some expensive tangsooyuk lol. Ordered the double noodles jjajangmyun & jampong. The food took a while to come out, but I’m a patient person. Jampong broth was flavorful & decent amount of seafood for a double noodle order but I’ve had better jjajangmyun elsewhere. Will be coming back with two people so I can try to tangsooyuk.

Had an item number 20 on the menu which was called«hot chewy noodle».it was quite flavorful obviously had noodles, a Korean hot sauce, fresh vegetables including red cabbage, carrots, mushrooms and bean sprouts. It was served with a broth which was good not exceptional and then with sides of pickled radish, Onion and of course accompanied by Kimchee. This was an exceptional dish as the vegetables were quite fresh, the sauce on the noodles well spiced but quite tolerable(there is additional dried red Korean pepper on the table) and well balanced. Although the broth was not exceptional it provided a good balance to the spice in the noodles and in retrospect I should simply have used the Korean pepper powder provided on the table. For this oversight I will not hold the restaurant responsible since it was the bland nature of the broth for which I am offering my criticism.

First impression Located between many other Korean restaurants on long point rd. The place is in a strip building and small spacing in the inside. The atmosphere is between a restaurant/café and a fast food joint. Went here as a family. We ordered 4 items on the menu. The order #5(White jjamppong) — Korean non spicy seafood noodle soup #2(Jjangppong) — Korean hot & spicy seafood noodle soup #20(Yeolmu Kimchi Naengmyeon) — cold noodles with young radish water kimchi #16(Tonkatsu) — pork cutlet with Rice The food was good and came out in a timely manner. Prefer to order noodles at a noodle house then rice though next time. My whole family thought the noodle dishes where good here as well, we will be returning as a family. The service was a nice lady working on the floor herself for the ordering, serving, and checkout. It’s a small business with good food. If you want Korean noodles you should try this place out.

Noodle soup is good, but Ganpugi and fried dumpings are so-so. The biggest problem is the prices are very expensive so I will probably not go back again.

The biggest issue is how much cost of food went up, up to 40%. See menu price now and from year ago.

This is the best Korean snack bar in Houston! Jajang myun is better than what you have vegetarian or less meat jajang myun in Korea. It’s worth to try!

Oh wow. What’s the cause for update? I think they have new owners or something, and the food is … sub-par. The JJM, the Jampong… it’s definitely not the same, and not as good. Will I come back? Probaby not. But the service is more friendly! There’s always a silver lining, right…

The food was great. Service friendly. The only thing is you need to go with at least four people. I went with just my wife and each dish is designed for two. So unless you share the same plate it will get very expensive to order two different items for only two people. Will definitely come back but will have to bring friends. Oh and they don’t take discover or Amex!

Tried the pork katsu curry to go, and surprised to see how many containers in the bag — 1 for rice, 1 for soup, 1 for kimchi, 1 for chopped daikon and onion, 1 for the curry, and 1 for the katsu. Everything is neatly packed and separated so they don’t get soggy, I’m very impressed with the attention to detail. The katsu is so crispy, which is a good thing for me, and the curry isn’t too sweet. It takes a while to prepare and the price isn’t exactly cheap, but I’ll be back since I know that my to go order will be well taken care of.

I was in the mood for noodles, but I don’t know… there just wasn’t anything too memorable here. We had originally wanted to try the seafood pancake, unfortunately they were out =(It’s ok though, we opted for the fried dumplings that were actually pretty tasty! Glad we went with fried instead of the steamed. My co-worker ordered #1, half and half. It’s nice that they offered this so we could try everything. The broth for the spicy seafood was good, but the jiajiangmyun was a little underwhelming =(This is my favorite type of korean noodle, so I was a little disappointed. I ordered #13, knife-cut thick noodle. I actually really enjoyed this one. The only downside was it was just broth, veggies and noodles. I wish there was some protein as well, it would’ve made it perfect. But the noodles itself were great.

This place is a hidden jem. I will be coming here anytime I crave kfood. They do it right. I would keep it a secret but I gotta support the kfood. Be careful doing family style. The portions are solid. TangSuYuk — crispy! The sauce is legit but TSK sauce is usually legit anywhere. The hard part is finding crispy TSY :) I am happy. Jjiajiangmyun –noodles we soft but firm. Sauce is made with beef instead of the usual pork. The beef have it a cleaner, lighter taste. Shrimp fried rice –taste was par, there were a lot of bean sprouts and a good number of shrimps. I just like my jjiajjiangbap with fried-rice, fob style Jjambbong –it was alright. It’s not my favorite dish in general. Ddukbokki –there were dumplings in there! And the little clear noodles. It was much better than Korean Noodle House. Korean pears came out at the end :) those are expensive.

I always come here with the madre and order our usual. + fried sweet n sour pork(tang-soo-yook) Is the best in Houston in my opinion! +Spicy seafood noodle soup/Black bean noodle comes together and makes a great combination. Also best in Houston IMO The service is by the owner of the restaurant, this sweet Korean woman I’d say if you weren’t Korean it wouldn’t be too hard to communicate, it just makes it easier if you are! I wish more people would come here. They have similar dishes served at H-mart but they do it better!
