Though I can’t say I’ve had very many mangonadas, this place def has the best one I’ve had. Very«mangoey» ice treat with chamoy & chili powder strewn through & on top. I prefer this to the type that’s literally a mango Popsicle that takes the shape of the cup it’s poured into. This one can be eaten with a spoon & isn’t messy. Yummy yummy yummy! My family & I also enjoyed the cheese nachos with jalapenos. They give you more delicious warm cheese than you need & the chips aren’t salty. Loved every bite! This place is another Houston find that I wish I could take back to CA!!!

Simple. Refreshing. Cheap. After a great run in the sun along buffalo bayou we decided to quench our thirst at this nearby spot we’ve driven by a couple times before. Good thing we did, as this place has what you need to cool off and wind down in this Houston heat. There’s nothing fancy here, just excellent snow cones, smoothies, and snacks w a Mexican twist. We enjoyed the mangonada, watermelon/cantaloupe/mango smoothie, and the mango beach. Real fruit is used here and our friend said it’s authentic to what he’s had in Mexico. Only tip: this place is CASH only so come prepared. Enjoy!

Would give this place five stars but since it’s cash only it gets bumped down to four. Good Mexican summer sweets!

This is one of those hole-in-the-wall places. Good and cheap! Been here a couples times and every time, it’s a hit! The mango beach is kinda pricey, $ 5 for just mangos and chili, but for some reason it’s better than when I eat mangos and chili at home. Not sure what all the Pina Loca has but it was sooo good! — had chucks of pineapple. Small place with small parking. Cash only.

This place is awesome with small outdoor seating area. The staffs are friendly! Mango beach(5⁄5) — It was refreshing and perfect in every ways! Hot Cheetos Pie(3⁄5) — it would have been better with out the ground beef. Next time I will only get the cheese with it. Furthermore, I think it’s a little pricey for this particular item. I can’t wait to come back for more!

Cute little place to just hang out and get out of the heavy Houston traffic. I got the mango beach it only has mangos and the chilli powder. Cheeto fries with chili cheese was so so I think it better with just cheese only. I’ll definitely be back for their snow ones and mangonado. Also they should update their menu it kind of hard to see what they have since the color of the photos are faded out. They have a section off the the left for seating and construction of an apartment right behind you. The view of the open field and full house homes to admire.

The drinks pretty decent but they really charge extra for a lil chilli when my friend ordered the exact same but had more chilli.

I LOVETHISPLACE! THEYHAVEGREATMANGONADASANDTHECORNIN A CUPISDELISH! The location is pretty nice too! It’s a very active area with a baseball field right across the street. This is a gem in the heights! There is, however, some sort of condo construction directly behind the building. which causes a great deal of noise. I would totally recommend this place to everyone!

Found this gem near where I lived and I’m totally stoked about it. We ordered the mangonada, pina Fresca, and some elotes and it was delicious. Can’t wait to come back and try the other items on the menu! Btw it’s Cash only.

If you want 100 percent authentic Mexican snacks/desserts you should go here. They have a wide variety of things to choose from ranging from smoothies, fresh fruit water, snow cones. They also have corn in a cup and magonadas. The fresh fruit waters are always on point! It has the perfect flavor and it’s so fresh! Perfect for a hot summer day. The lemonade is the best lemonade I have tried in Houston and I feel like it’s the closest I have had that resembled what it tastes like in Mexico. The corn in the cup with cheese, mayo and chili powder is always yummy. Anyone who enjoys fresh and refreshing treats should go here! I have yet to have anything on the menu that I did not like!

We’ve been here many times. Wife loves the corn. Mangonada’s are really good. Kids love the snow cones. Prices are very reasonable.

Please fix your hours of operation on Unilocal because you just hurt my feelings. I went by tonight trying to cure my craving and you were closed. That sucks!

If you’re looking for a cold, sweet, CHEAP dessert, this is the place to go! The snow cones here are dirt cheap– like $ 1.50 for a medium, and you can add sweet cream(which I think is condensed milk, haha) for 50 cents. We also tried the mangonada, which was pricier but really good too. It was sweet but had a spicy kick to it from the chamoy. After a while, though, it started getting reallyyy sweet to me, but the bf still liked it! It’s kind of in a hole-in-the-wall place, and it feels very authentic. They also serve food like nachos, elote corn, churros, etc, which I would like to try in the future.

I have been in search for the best mangonada and I am still(surprisingly) favored towards the Grove’s Chamango… but it’s so far! What was this mangonada missing? Definitely needed more chamoy. I ordered the mango beach which is basically chunks of fresh mango topped with fruit chili drizzled with chamoy. Very refreshing. I wanted to give this place 3.5−4 stars but it does take forever to make a drink. I went on a Wednesday afternoon and it was only one person working. She only makes one order at a time.

I was NOT impressed with their elotes and ended up throwing mine in the trash! Maybe I’ll come back for a mangonada but very unlikely!

The only flaws I could really find is the limited parking and limited places you can enjoy eating the snacks you just bought. Besides that, it’s the bomb. This place does not skimp out on the syrup. It’s super flavorful. The hot cheeto pie was also good. Each cheeto had chili and the queso; one was not forgotten which is impressive because most places just plop it on without caring. The mangonada is good, but I would prefer the mango beach since mango is in season! Going back there today because snow cones are the best in the summer.

As always, this place never disappoints. I tried something different besides the Mangonanda and went with the Mango Beach. Super yummy and a healthier option than the Mangonanda. Also, the lovely ladies who work this business filled our water bottle up and added ice free of charge. I thought that was very kind of them. You seriously can’t go wrong here. I’ll continue exploring the menu throughout the summer.
