Lone Star Building and Construction Services, a Houston remodeler, was awarded Remodeler of The Year for 2008 and 2010 by the Greater Houston Builders Association for excellence in remodeling and custom building in Houston. Lone Star is a family operated company since 1976 with master craftsmen specializing in design/​build, remodel, home renovations, kitchen remodel, bathroom remodel, whole home remodel, home additions, outdoor kitchens and more. Wayne B.

Business Owner

Wayne Ball has remodeling in his blood. His father was a remodeler in upstate New York, where Ball was born in 1955. As a teenager, Ball spent his summers working in the construction field and chose to study civil engineering and architectural design in college. In 1976 Wayne Ball and his father formed Lone Star Building and Construction in Houston, Texas.

Wayne has been heavily active and involved in the Houston remodeling and building industry ever since. He joined the Greater Houston Builders Association in 1984, earned his Master Craftsmen title and joined the Remodelers Council in 2002, where he has since served as a board member, committee chair, Vice President and will be the 2010 President.
