I tried the shrimp poorboy which was good, but the customer service was horrible. The sandwich was served to us in a to-go bag, even though my wife and I are sitting at a table. I had to get back in line and ask for a plate. The fries and onion rings I ordered came out 10 minutes after the sandwhich. It should have all came out at the same time. There is only one ketchup bottle for the dinning area, which is crazy. The ketchup bottle was running low and I ask for some more. The waitress come back with hot sauce ketchup. I won’t be going back cause of the horrible customer service.

I have eaten here several times, the staff is always friendly and polite. The food is always good and the portions are good sized. The restaurant is clean, floors and rest room was equally clean. Good food and friendly staff, what’s else could you ask for… That’s why I come back.

Large portions of good quality food. Husband had ham plate with green beans and baked beans. He could only finish half. I had cuban sandwich. Very tasty, but too much for me also. No problem, saved it for lunch next day. Friendly staff. Clean restaurant

Not as fancy as the Westheimer location but still nice and they also don’t have all the pasta and soup mix available here. They had a great selection of ready deli and food for your ordering on the glass display. I enjoyed my Akaushi beef burger here but it was cooked medium rare. To enjoy an Akaushi beef burger you have to cook it well done so that the fat turns into juicy, full flavor of the burger. So make sure you ask for the Akaushi burger well done so you can taste the sweet, nutty flavor of the beef. The bun was the same sweet taste with the sour dough buns. In reality, the sour dough is sour but tricks the taste bud to taste sweet. Pretty much the same concept as salting a watermelon to make it sweeter. They also serve breakfast here on the weekends. Not a bad place for a great burger.
