Preschool Academy and Childcare, serving infants through after school. We are open from 6:00am to 6:30pm and our school sits on 2+ acres of shaded playgrounds with a separate infants/​toddler playground. We are proud to offer individual classrooms with small child-​teacher ratios. What makes us different is our Science and Technology curriculums, Art classes, Music and Movement/​Indoor Gym for indoor activities and physical education! Also, we offer two Learning Lane classrooms that serve children with Autism. {Insurance Accepted}

We ensure that the developmentally appropriate practices are covered and teacher training is ongoing to encourage higher level thinking skills in their teaching approaches. All of this is included in your tuition, as well as healthy snacks and lunches prepared by our own cook.

History

Established in 1982.

Serving the North Houston, Spring and Klein areas for many years, Linder Young Learners Academy has grown into the wonderful 12,000 square foot facility on over 2 acres conveniently located on Gladebrook Drive, near FM 1960 (Cypress Creek Parkway).

Meet the Business Owner

Dan, Debbie, Ed Z.

Business Owner

Dan Altom {Director of Finance} Dan oversees The Woodlands Young Learners Academy Administration and Facilities responsibilities. Dan holds a Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance from Texas A&M University. Dan, his wife, and daughter make their home in Magnolia, Texas.

Deborah Kaschik {Director of Curriculum} Deborah has spent 30 years as a professional educator in both the Education and Financial Industries in both Arkansas and Texas. Deborah, a Woodlands resident since 1990, currently resides in Alden Bridge with her husband and their son.

Ed Ziegler {Director of Facilities} Ed graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business from Texas A&M University. Prior to joining the team, Ed worked with Trinity Episcopal Church, University of Houston and Human Resource Connection. Mr. Ziegler resides in The Woodlands with his wife Katy and two children.
