Legacy Mutual Mortgage

I wouldn’t even give this putos a chance nor a half of a star. I haven’t even deal with them but considering that they only want to deal with big mortgage loans they don’t have any business offering their service because if a low mortgage loan is what I want then that’s what I want even if I can afford the bigger loans… The only reason y they getting a star is because that is the only way I can post this

I waited this long to say something about legacy Mutual because I wanted a solid evidence before I make any criticism. I applied for a home loan through legacy mutual. At first they were really quick to respond and very friendly staff, no complains there. The office is really nice and welcoming. I submitted all the documents that was required to pre qualify. One of the loan office (Mr. Lopez), really nice guy seem to know all about taxes and mortgage but he informed me that I have few glitches on my taxes and I need to get it fixed before my loan will be considered. Since I was happy with their service at first I went and fixed my taxes and went back to have my loan processed. Now Mr. Lopez ran all the numbers with new tax information and told me they will not be able to approve my loan. I was really frustrated and disappointed at the same time cause I wasted so much time. Later I went to a different lender and they approved me with the same information legacy Mutual had on me. This new loan officer was really shocked that I was not approved. What I concluded from this was legacy mutual don’t want to work on small home loans. I wish knew this from the beginning so I would have not wasted my time.

I have been a repeat customer since 2006. Chad and his Team have closed all of my deals on time and they answer the phone and return emails promptly. He never tells me that a deal will NOT work, he always tells what is needed in order for it to work. These guys are all about possibility and they do what they say they are going to do. –Frost M

This review is long overdue as my fiancée and I used Legacy Mutual Mortgage to purchase our first home in The Heights last November. Megan and Cassandra were extremely helpful at every step of the way. The process was extremely smooth, and we would recommend their services to anyone looking to buy a home.

We did business with these guys as The Kyles Team, but Legacy is the same great people with the same great philosophies.
We were new to home buying and they really took the time to explain everything to us in great detail. They returned calls promptly and were able to accept most documents via e-​mail which was a huge time saver.

My husband and I worked with LMM (formerly the Kyles Team) on our home purchase in Houston. We were introduced to them through our real estate agent after having a bad experience with Bank of America. I remember sitting in what I hoped to be my new master bedroom, talking on the phone with a perky, professional and energetic loan officer named Megan Chalmers. She told me there was nothing to worry about and she’d take care of us. And she did! She and the other staff bent over backwards to get us the best rate and make the process as painless as possible. I would recommend them to everyone looking for a house. They are the best! We wouldn’t be in our house today without them.

After 5 moves and 5 mortgages in different cities, states, banks, etc., I had some perspective. Don’t go through a bank and get lost or restricted in options, or go on-​line and buyer beware (caveat emptor) for who are you dealing with for such an important issue. Steve and his team are top notch. He looks at you and your needs, your total picture and helps you get exactly the financing you need. They are the best!!!

My husband and I were looking for a home prior to our wedding. Our real estate agent helped us for quite some time until we found the house we wanted. It was 2 weeks before our wedding day and we submitted our offer, we thought that we would have some time between the offer and our closing date.
We were wrong. The sellers needed to sell their house right away, right away was two days after our wedding date! We didn’t know how it could be done so quickly. That’s not even the least of it, our wedding was 2000 miles away! We were rushing around for the wedding, traveling, and trying to buy a house!
The paperwork was over-​nighted to us and I’m pretty sure everyone in the Kyles office was working on the weekends and late nights to help make this closing happen. They were completely patient with dealing with us so far away and in constant contact with us. I don’t think it could have gone smoother given the circumstances.
We came back from our honeymoon to our new home and we have the Kyles Team and our agent, Oscar Hernandez, to thank for handling our extraordinary home buying process with ease and extreme professionalism.
