I have been going here for years, and have never had any problems with the service. She (the owner) is very busy, and you must allow at least 1 week for alterations to be ready. Knowing this in advance will help you. I’ve never been told that my pants or skirts’ hemming would be ready before 7 days… she’s just that busy, and that good. I recommend Laura’s Tailors to all my friends and family members in the area. I would have given 5 stars, but I’ve no other tailors to compare with. No need to take my clothes anywhere else.

Dropped off a pair of pants to get hemmed and was given a quote of $ 13 for the pair. Even though its quite expensive for the area, I accepted and was told to return the following Monday to pick up. Prior to leaving I told them to please have it ready by then or to call me if not since I live quite a ways out from that location. I arrive the following Wednesday giving them two extra days than what they scheduled for and was still told my piece wasn’t ready! I really understand why it would take more than a week to hem up a pair of pants?
The part that ticks me off the most is that they didn’t call me to let me know this ahead of time and I had to trek across town for nothing. When I asked why they hadn’t called to let me know, they gave me a lot of attitude and after some back in forth, the owner told me not to come back again! The arrogance! The people that run this place have absolutely no concept of customer service what so ever. If you want your alterations done properly and professionally, go somewhere else because you absolutely will not get this here!
