We decided to eat lunch here after reading the reviews and we were very happy. The quality and freshness of the food is top quality. We had the taco deal for $ 5 and it was great. Fresh cilantro, onions, a lime, jalapeño pepper, and grilled onions filled us up. The beans were the best beans I have eaten. We also ordered a tostada that was topped with fresh avocado and queso fresco. The Horchata is the best, very fresh and full of cinnamon! The staff didn’t speak much English but my Spanish was ok enough to get our order in. The menu is on the wall and every item has a picture to help. It’s worth giving a try and I plan to bring a few friends here being that it is so authentic and yummy!

I really like this place, when I worked around the corner I would come here 2x per week for lunch! The enchilada plate de queso, with a Aqua de piña is awesome!

Best Carne Asada Burritos! I’m from Los Angeles CA and decided to try this spot while visiting Houston. Wow! Had to go back a couple of times. Best Huaraches too!!!
