DONOT buy Kroger brand pasta! My fiancée and I found live and dead bugs in the box as well as mixed in with the pasta! This is entirely unacceptable. The pasta does not come in a sealed bag, only loose in the box. From now on, we’ll be getting name-brand pasta.

Produce selection is poor in terms of quality and variety. I’m pretty sure there are only 2 designated areas to leave your shopping cart in the whole parking lot, meaning there are always abandoned carts EVERYWHERE. The last time I went there, the ice cream section was COMPLETELY empty. I should have taken a picture of the empty freezer.(Just because blue bell is out of commission doesn’t mean you have to get rid of everything else!!) Multiple times I’ve gotten home to realize that something I bought had already been opened(peanut butter, yogurt). Another time, the cashier charged me for the guy behind me’s groceries. I didn’t notice because I was in a hurry and there was no one available to bag groceries so I was bagging my own. The staff just doesn’t seem to work as a team or have much motivation to be helpful, which points to poor management. Often, they don’t appear to be short staffed; everyone is just standing around or pretending to stock instead of helping customers. There’s no reason to shop here when there is an excellent HEB on Blackhawk, just a couple miles down beltway 8.

I always enjoy my grocery shopping here at this location. More now since I moved to New York and they have PathMark which is similar. This evening I left the parking lot recalling I cleared out the Kroger’s Cart into the car trunk only to come home and realized I didn’t bring in a 30 ct pack of Capri-sun that I purchased for my family. I immediately called Kroger’s and was directed to customer service with Joe and he assisted me right away. Usually I don’t think anything could have been done. So thank you to the great guys who bagged my items and Joe with customer service and to the dear individual who returned them. You guys were of great help in customer satisfaction.

It’s Kroger’s; it stays open late night for ice cream. No registers are open, but self checkout serves well sometimes or sometimes it doesn’t ring up your food. So I guess that means you can steal it and never get caught because the scanner didn’t wanna scan your food.
