Kroger Food Stores

This Kroger is horrible. I worked for this company when I all through high school and my first two years of college.
This Kroger always has a horrible stench to it and is always dirty. I realize that this store is not in the best part of town but it does not mean that they can not keep up with it

When I’m on the road and its late and I’ve had a long day, I get in my car and drive around until I find a grocery store that’s open. With a touch of tunnel vision I enter and find the ice cream case. Do I care that the guy in front of me is holding the door open and fogging up all the glass? No. Do I care that someone has deposited pork cutlets with the rest of the Haagen Dazs? No. Do I need the calories? No. Do I care that in the morning I’ll feel shitty physically and weak emotionally? No. No. No. The only thing I care about is the ice cream — coffee flavor tonight.
This is as close as I come to understanding the concept of fanatics who proclaim… THE POWER OF CHRIST COMPELS ME (muttered in a real Exorcist sort of voice).
Thank you Kroger for being open past 10PM and thank you check out person — you were sweet for scanning your Kroger card and saving me a buck.
