I don’t deal with attorneys very often(thankfully) but I had recently moved to Texas and needed my Will re-done, as well as estate planning and power of attorney done. If you don’t have these, get them done. I would suggest you do them through this man. Bill walked me through every step, collecting information we needed, professionally drafted them up, sent them to me and then went to his office to get them signed. He was very thorough in explaining what each of these were for, why they there were needed and where to keep them. I had no idea there were so many details — for example: did you know a Will has to be signed by witnesses(that you don’t know, FYI) and he has to sign in blue ink? If its not done that way, the will is not legal. I had no idea on that, and pretty much if you’re not an attorney, you won’t know either. My point here is that Bill knows the law. And that is very important if you’re going to protect your children, your family, your friends in the event you die. We all are going to die eventually — don’t let the Great State of Texas determine who gets your money — carve up a will. Get it done. Your family will thank you for it after you pass along. And get it done correctly!
