Atmosphere
The first day I walked into Klassic Kutz I knew immediately this barbershop was for me. The shop is clean with wood floor, nice leather seats, and a giant sized flatscreen. You’ll feel right at home with the positive vibes.
LOCATION
The barbershop is sort of hidden but isn’t hard to find. It’s a white building on Almeda Road behind a black fence.
Barbers
All 4 Barbers that work there are experts. You can tell they’ve been in the industry for a very long time. When you walk in they greet you make sure your doing okay. Very respectful and always treat you with the best cut. Abu is my weekly Barber and he has never disappointed me. I would highly recommend Abu he takes his time and ask the client if he’s doing right throughout the cuts.
Btw the Barbers cut all types of hair.
Overall
You can’t go wrong. BEST BARBERSHOP IN HOUSTON. On a scale of 1⁄10 with 10 being the best I give Klassic Kutz an 11

Got a great cut for a reasonable price and service. Abu did a great job with my hair, which most barbers can’t do. I finally found a barbershop that I can count on in Houston, after 2 years trying to find one.

Haircut was below average. Maybe the Barber didn’t know how to cut Asian people hair? Haircut took FOREVER 1HR, and I was charged $ 20. I know the difference between a good/​mediocre/​bad haircut. I get a basic fade and trim from the top, typically takes 20min to cut my hair at other places.

Klassic Kutz is a clean place with barbers who want to give you the best they can. Wiz takes care of my trims and makes sure I’m good to go. Clippers, Straight razor… the works! The waiting area is awesome and they have a TV going that you can see from the whole studio. I would encourage my friends & family to try out Klassic Kutz because I know they wouldn’t be disappointed. Thanks Wiz.

Amazing barbers. I love the guys I get my hair cut with. They are all good at their trade. Wiz is especially attentitive to detail. I have the most difficult hair (gray and straight) so take it from me when I say they are really good !

Not sure what his name was but he can’t do a beard at all mess mine up and all I went to get was a trim but it wasn’t that TJ or that other cat name start with a but there another cat in there with a full beard he can not cut at all and rude it fuck so be careful who you chose I never write review but this piss me off I had too

Great atmosphere and décor for a barbershop. I was able to hang out and watch the big screen tv until it was time to get my haircut. The barbers are attentive and professional. I usually go to TJ who always hooks me up with a nice cut. I would highly recommend this barbershop. You won’t regret it.

I have cut my own hair for the last four years because edging me is a complicated process due to my unusual hairline. I decided I wanted to try something different and go with a Mohawk, which is a big risk since I haven’t set foot in this shop ever. I usually take three tries by the same barber to get used to the texture of my hair and growth issues. Initially, I did call the shop prior to making the journey and was put at ease from the start based on the high level of professionalism and knowledge by the staff on the phone conversation. Upon arriving, a second consultation by Andre (my official new barber) in the chair definitely impressed me by his years of experience and passion for the field. I honestly avoided looking in the mirror at first for the reason previously stated, regarding never having had a Mohawk and the fact that I’m a tricky cut. When I finally had the courage to look, I didn’t recognize myself and it was the best feeling I’ve had in a barber chair in over a decade. If you go to this barbershop you will be very happy you did. The wait time is non existent. Admittedly, I found this barbershop on Unilocal after waiting in another shop for over an hour and half after a friend referred me.

One of the nicest shops in the area. I’ve received haircuts from 3 of the barbers at this shop. Abu and TJ are the best two and I would highly recommend the both of them. The shop also has a great atmosphere with leather seats and a huge flat screen TV.
Price is reasonable; I paid $ 15 and tipped $ 5. They can and will cut your hair to perfection with adequate instruction.
The only cons are the wait time and opening time. Do not go around opening time! I would definitely call the shop before you plan on going. Especially in the morning around opening time.

A lot of local barber shops open around 10⁄11. This one was advertised to be open at 9. Haven’t been in a few yrs (3?) but homie was there at 815ish. He let me slide in the chair which meant the world seeing as I was pressed for time. Knowledgable barber. Great atmosphere. Sensible price (15.00) in and out in 25⁄30 min. That’s the kind of service that keeps people coming back.

Abu is good at what he does… Excellent cut. Location is clean and classy. Plenty of seating. TV/​Magazines while you wait. Staff is friendly and makes you feel at home. Shout out to Abu for a great fade. Definitely coming back!

This place is great. I’ve been looking for a place to get a nice haircut in Houston for 4 years now. Finding a barber who can cut African American hair is hard. I finally found the right place. I went in on a Tuesday morning and got TJ to cut my hair. He had a a great movie playing while I was waiting. I wanted to try out a new style and he cut it really well. I went In with a picture of what I wanted and he did just that. I got complements for 2 weeks. I’m definitely going back for sure.

I was very impressed with this place! I visited yesterday and TJ set me up with the best hair cut I’ve ever had. I’m not a picky guy, but I know what I like and it turned out better than I had expected. The wait was long, so next time I’ll schedule an appointment, but I didn’t mind the wait and time spent because I had nowhere to be, and kill bill was playing on the big screen. I also asked him to trim and shape my beard and he did a great job at that as well. Excellent service and quality, great atmosphere, good people and interesting conversations. I look forward to going back.

Got a haircut here today and realized I’d been coming here for six months and haven’t left a review.
It has a real professional setting to it, a nice large screen television and some good barbers.
I’ve had three barbers here and they’ve all have done a really good job.
Location (Important)
I passed this barber shop for over a year before I finally realized what it was. It’s extremely easy to miss because it’s in a business park behind a black rail fence.
The shop is on the right hand side of Almeda if your heading North.
Barbers:
I’ve had four barbers here and they’ve all been good. One of them isn’t here anymore but I would recommend either Sam, TJ or Abu. You won’t be disappointed.
Atmosphere:
It’s a laid-​back more quiet atmosphere than some other barber shops. Most of the foot traffic comes on the other side of Almeda where there’s another black barber shop so they’re always packed. This shop is rarely packed, even on a Friday or Saturday. This means that you’ll never have to wait all day to get a cut. The most I’ve waited is an hour, TOPS.

Stopped by for the first time. As soon as you walk in the place looks very well kept– huge TV with leather couches. My barber was very professional yet kept the conversation going with humor and sports talk. Cut was great (got a high fade with edge up). Found my new barber, I highly recommend this place. Great staff, great atmosphere, clean place, and if you appreciate our troops, manager served two tours in the Army.

I stopped in here to get my 2 boys a hair cut and man was I surprised.
I would recommend the barber LC. she was very attentive and she gave
my boys a fresh and clean cut.
When I arrived I thought I would be there for a long time, knowing how barber shops can be, she took me right in and cut both of kids hair in no more than 40 minutes.
I could tell that was dedicated to her job. She gave my boys the cuts
they wanted in a great amount of time. After she was done, my son
had declared that we have found us a new barber.

I recently discovered Klassic Kutz on a fateful Friday when I had just gotten off work and needed to get cleaned up to go out that evening. I had just moved to the city and the barber I had been seeing had no availabilities. I strolled into Klassic Kutz because of of my desperation and it’s convenient location.
I was pleasantly surprised with not only how nice the shop was, but I was greeted with kindness and and welcomed to take a seat at a chair despite the fact that I had strolled in after they were closed.
I received Sam as a barber and not only was he friendly and warm, he was attentive to my requests and gave me a stellar cut. While I did find the after hours shop talk a little vulgar, I will definitely be visiting this shop again and seeing Sam.
