After working for Prescriptives, a subsidiary make up line under the Estee Lauder brand, I began to branch out on my own as a freelance make up artist. With my degree in fine arts and my combined experience in make up artistry I began the company Kismet in 2003.

My strengths in make up are a keen ability to read the undertone of a woman’s skin color. Some women have an undertone that is very hard to read and often end up with a foundation that is off in color and thus the make up looks overdone and out of balance. I take pride in selecting and using a foundation to color correct the undertone and develop a make up look to balance and enhance the undertones. Working with make up in this way helps to bring out the best in every face that I work with!
